PROS

I find Competency cloud very logical and easy to use. I also like the fact the team are open to suggestions/new ideas when I put them forward. The training matrix side of competency cloud is really clear and the training pathway helps so you can remember who you are suggesting for training.

CONS

I would like it to have a read receipt for the broadcasts. Also, I wonder if there is anyway to link the broadcasts in with our website updates so have a RSS feed from our website/twitter pages which links and sends a broadcast out too. When you are updating a training course is it possible when you have updated the employee training it let gives you an option to go back to that training course instead of you having to start from the start and find the training course/person again.

Use of Competency cloud

PROS

It has features such as employee training courses, tracking of their completed training, PPE issed etc. that are very useful.

CONS

Competencies and Trades are not very straightforward to use. You cannot really track the competency levels of an employee. Evidence of training completing by signatures would also be a plus. Employees Holidays tracking tool could be added as a function.

A Game Changer

Very good

PROS

We have always struggled with manual records and maintaining tight controls over HR, in particular on-boarding of new staff, training, compliance and review. Through Competency Cloud we have been able to aggregate all these aspects into one place and empower our staff to access their files.

CONS

The ability to centralise and edit forms and templates without having to zip.
