Fabulous Customer Service

PROS

Compared to other systems we've used DocVilla is miles ahead of any of the competition when it comes to customer support.

CONS

We are a small psych practice. The system works great but some decisions have been made for features that don't fit the best with our needs but fit better for larger practices.

Reasons for switching to DocVilla

They failed to provide proper billing support and cost us a huge sum of money.

Overall great platform, happy customer

Overall I am happy and I would recommend DocVilla

PROS

We are part of bigger hospital system and already have EPIC. We wanted an easier EHR for direct primary care, telemedicine, patient portal and other needs. DocVilla was able to provide that solution as we didn’t find many softwares with DPC. Customer service is great, professional and prompt. Also, I have not seen any downtime yet in EMR.

CONS

Nothing that comes in my mind. There was a learning curve in creating templates but customer service helped us out with training. It’s fast and pretty much everything including erx, telemedicine works fine.

PROS

When Docvilla says their software does something. It actually does it.

CONS

Their software is written mainly for medical practices. Our psychiatric practice has had to be flexible in some areas to account for this.

Really Happy with DocVilla

I am happy customer. No complaints and would definitely recommend them.

PROS

I love their customer service. We needed a lot customization which not many EHRs were offering. DocVilla helped us with customization as well as custom white labeled patient portal.

CONS

It has a lot of features so it has a learning curve. Otherwise, it's a great platform.

I wanted to take a moment to express our satisfaction with DocVilla's all-in-one system. Since adopting it, we've been consistently impressed with its performance and functionality. Following the merger that led to the transition from Kareo to Tebra, we experienced some disappointment with the new platform. However, DocVilla has surpassed our expectations, delivering on its promise's in a way that truly benefits our practice. The system's provision of excellent customer support has been invaluable, ensuring that any issues or queries are addressed promptly and effectively. Moreover, its seamless claim submission process has streamlined our administrative tasks, saving us time and effort. Perhaps most importantly, DocVilla's patient payment and ERA processing capabilities have been a game-changer for us. The system not only facilitates smooth transactions but also enhances the overall patient experience, which is essential for maintaining satisfaction and loyalty. In light of our positive experience with DocVilla, we're confident in our decision to rely on this platform for the long term. CONS

I would like for DocVilla to give me the option to email patients when a change is made on their appointment. Sometimes a mistake is made, such as telehealth is booked in Error. When this happens patients get confused.

See above. Opus was terrible, they use all third party companies for claims, telehealth, patient payments, and do not have messaging. They tote that texting patients is against hippa.

You can also send secure, HIPAA-compliant messages directly through the patient portal. DocVilla will alert patients via email that their doctor has sent a secure message, prompting them to log in to the patient portal to read it. For patients who haven't set up a patient portal account, you can text them directly on their mobile phones, ensuring to only include non-PHI data. Please be cautious with direct emails to patients, as using common free email services like Yahoo, AOL, and Gmail could pose HIPAA violations due to potential data harvesting or the risk of sending emails to incorrect address.
