Very useful tool.

PROS

I purchased Sure MDM because for a very small premium I could have both SureMDM and SureLock. I did not think I would use SureMDM very much but since installing I have used for monitoring usage, setting up alerts when battery power is low, device location and messaging

CONS

It takes a while to get used to interface and functionality but that is the same with many products.

Great product for the price and very easy to use

Overall I am very happy. It is very inexpensive compared to other more well-known MDM solutions and perfect for our Android needs.

PROS

This product is very easy to manage, maintain and use. I have used a few different MDM programs this is by far the easiest, especially for managing Android devices. I would say that if you are managing mostly or only Android devices this would be a great product for you. And depending on the device, you can have a lot of control. We use all Samsung device with Samsung Knox and this program works great with those kinds of devices.

CONS

It is not perfect and has had some bugs over the time I have used it. The agent gets updated quite frequently and we have had some issues with this. The worst part about the software is updating the server software if you have an On-Premise solution (which we have.) I am sure the Cloud based version removes the problems we have had, but if you choose the on-premise solution that it can be very difficult to upgrade or when it is necessary.

42 Gears understand what an MDM is for.

I find it just OK to use. It does some basic management. But missing some key functionality. They are missing a focus on what MDM software is for.

PROS

I like the job creation and scripts. the way it integrates with Stage now.

CONS

We support 320 android devices. There are several functionalities missing from what an MDM should have. One can not select several devices at one time and refresh the data. The cycle for refreshing data is every 3 hours. When applying a WiFi-only job the job will time out in half an hour if there is a cellular internet connection. It does not hold the job until there is a WiFi connection available. their first-level support team a. does not understand what you are asking and b. they do not know their application.

Reasons for switching to SureMDM

The support on that application was worse the 42gears

We would like to recommend 42 Gears for their reliable system and user friendly interfaces. We are getting best technical support instantly and very good response time for customer support. This is one of the best MDM service in the market compare to other services. Currently we are running more than 5000 devices under this product and still running smoothly.
