No-Code DB Builder
With baserow,am ensuring that I collect data from different teams located in different counties in a timely manner. The Data storage anddb design havebeen well sorted and with Baserow, there has been increased productivity and comparatively reduced personnel costs as to adding Experts.
PROSThe Data Storage, Data ase design which is drag n drop makes this a more better product. The availability of a number of templates that align to the Projectneeds is welcome and the User Interface design is welcome. Further, the structure of Project management and layout plays a more bigger role in the daily activity management of App.
CONSIt is not easily understood to a non-starter and the pricing model while seems average, moreneeds to be done on the feature availability and a more cost-effective method or package defined.

Flexibility amd need for a more nuanced system informed my switching to Baserow.

Highly recommended visual database for long-term use
I enjoy using Baserow and am happy to be part of the community. Open-sourcing your own product is not always easy in terms of intellectual property and old-school business mindset. I've migrated from Airtable/SmartSuite to Baserow and use Baserow for summary and visual data management that works well with other databases like Cloudflare D1 and MongoDB (integrated with Make.com). When it comes to Application Builder that the Baserow team is currently working on, according to their webinar, they plan to integrate other data sources and to develop a chart/graph feature, so I'm looking forward to using it. (Competitors/alternatives could be not only Airtable, but also Retool and Softr) Overall, Baserow is a cost-effective and strategic solution for your digital transformation.
PROS- Cost effective from free to 5 USD per month - Simple and clean interface - Simple but useful API endpoints - Nice and supportive community - Application builder is evolving now - Open-source mindset and movement
CONS- Application builder could have more feature (expectation for the future) - Filters should be sent as POST request rather than a GET parameter
Reason for choosing Baserow
Open-source mindset and they might think that Baserow is a rich user interface (view/boundary) of other micro services in system integration.

Categories are flexible, the interface is easy to read, easy to collaborate with other in the company, less expensive than competitors
CONSWe need a mobile version, capability to create more Views, and an easier Search function.

I moved jobs, and my previous company used AirTable.

Superb open source project management tools
I love using Baserow, it helped my team to manage the task.
PROSBaserow provides open source version, which helped a lot for nonprofit companies to manage their team and projects.
CONS- There is no desktop version of baserow. - Cannot add WYSIWYG page on an item/task

Baserow provides open source version, that can be deployed on our server.
Reasons for switching to Baserow
Notion have more flexible feature like creating layout (table, kanban, calendar, board, etc) based on the same table. Notion also has desktop version that robust the performance.

Hi FX Bayu, thanks for taking the time to review! We don't get a lot of requests for a desktop version of Baserow, but if our community members are interested, it's something we can look into. In the meantime, there are some solutions that turn web apps into "native" apps using wrappers. Suggest looking into that if it's of interest. Regarding views: Baserow has Grid (table) Kanban (board), and Calendar views available. Lastly: Be sure to enable rich text formatting when creating a Long Text field. That should help! –Hiram

Free and easy to use
We have helped several clients who want to be able to edit spreadsheets and show that data in real time on an application set up base row. We have also helped several people move off of air table onto base road to save the money!
PROSOur team loves how easy it is to set up new tables and how cheap it is compared to Airtable!
CONSWe prefer the cloud hosted option over the self hosted option, and don’t have a lot of negatives!
