Rguroo evaluation
Overall experience: Excellent!
PROSI like the easy to navigate Graphical User Interface. Also the arrangement of Rguroo menus mirrors the order in which I go through elementary statistics topics with my students.
CONSI wish that Rguroo allowed for fractions as data entry values.
Reason for choosing Rguroo
(1) Cost was low, (2) Ease of use, and (3) Web-based tool.
Reasons for switching to Rguroo
Graphing calculators were more expensive to require students to purchase, compared with the low subscription cost of Rguroo. Also, students would rarely have the same calculator - even if they all had TI-84s, they often didn't have the correct operating system, etc.

Rguroo is a great tool in teaching elementary and advance statistics
It completely changed my and my students experience teaching and learning basic statistical analysis.

My students had hard time with the installation of Minitab and Rguroo, being a web-base platform, was a great substitute.

Rguroo for Introductory Statistics
I am happy with Rguroo. My lower level students do have issues with their user experience, initially, but there is probably no product that is user-friendly enough!
PROSIt is inexpensive, and has all the tools for beginning statistics courses and beyond. The ability to create groups and repositories is very useful. Inclusion of some Web applets is a nice feature. That it is Web-based, so functional on all devices including phones, helps meets the needs of my students.
CONSThe Normal Probability Plot should be included in the "Plots" tab. Needs better messaging for some error conditions. Specifically, when the user is timed out, they should receive a pop-up. Many times I've done work, sometimes a good amount, such as editing a dataset, and I lose that work while finding out that I've been timed out only when I press the "Save As" button or something like that. Entering data is cumbersome, with all of the double-clicking required, but I've heard that is currently being improved.
Reason for choosing Rguroo
It contained all of the right tools for my course, was reasonably priced, and being based on the R language that I have programmed with, it gave me some immediate familiarity.
Reasons for switching to Rguroo
Fathom, though very user-friendly and interactive, is not being updated and does not work on Apple products nor mobile devices. Since I have experience coding in the R language, Rguroo was the perfect fit for me at a great price.

Appreciate and love Rguroo
My experience has been great, as it has provided me with an outstanding help in teaching my statistics courses in the past few years of teaching. It has also been a great alternative to R programming.
PROSRguroo's capabilities in calculating probabilities, creating beautiful and interactive graphs, it's reproducibility and accessibility feature.
CONSThis software does not have many cons. All features that I use have been useful and easy to navigate.

Rguroo Works Well for General Introductory Statistics Courses
I teach using Rguroo and it works very well in my courses. My students are not fully prepared to work directly in R and Rguroo is the perfect transitional experience for students without programming knowledge. They can successfully analyze data and conduct statistical inference without coding which was exactly what I was looking for an introductory course. In addition, is it simple to share multiple data sets with my courses.
CONSOverall, I am very happy with Rguroo. The program actually has everything I need it to have to complete all my assessments. No complaints from me.

I do not have class time to teach R coding in our introductory course.
Reasons for switching to Rguroo
We switched textbooks from a Pearson book to a Wiley book and Wiley included Rguroo in the price of the Lock text.
