Solution delivery is supported by highly competent people at Bluestone PIM, which was very helpful for us when building an Ecommerce site for the first time. Cons: The solution not being plug and play is a two-edged sword, as it gives great flexibility, but also takes a bit more time to launch. The PIM solution is a key part of the process of getting full control of our assortment, and up to date product information in all systems. All essential functions regarding data exchange are available through API's. The UI is in general user friendly. The license model is predictable. You design your own data model, which gives you a high level of freedom but is challenging for a new user of PIM applications. Cons: product is missing a rules engine, both ways of calculating values and building rules connected to the attributes. Some parts of UI are not optimized and should be improved to increase end-user satisfaction, f.ex scrollbars are not easy to use, screen sections are not that flexible.
