Ideal functionality for small to mid-sized CSR programs

The administration of matching grants and the tracking of corporate volunteer hours is easily done and no longer relegated to spreadsheets and guessing. This is a simple, elegant solution for small to mid-sized businesses that don't have complex CSR requirements.

Game changer for our CSR efforts!

Implementation and rollout were a breeze. They have a checklist and touch bases to make the onboarding process seamless.

PROS

Millie has been a great addition to our team. The support offered is unmatched, and they have been very receptive to any feedback on the platform. I now have a centralized system to expand and promote our CSR efforts. The implementation with Slack is huge to keep my team engaged in the platform.

CONS

It sounds like this is an industry-standard issue- but I wish the charities knew that the donation was linked to our company vs. the Millie Foundation. This can be resolved if the charity sets up its Millie account, but this is our only hiccup.

Reason for choosing Millie

Millie works with smaller/medium-sized businesses. With a smaller team, Millie's price and platform matched best for our company.

Digital Partner for Philanthropy Efforts

Overall, Millie has been a helpful tool for me in my role to align philanthropy to the initiatives we are already running. I know it will be incredible helpful at the end of the year to give us a full scope of what we are contributing to the community and I am grateful for the organization it will bring to the table.

PROS

We released Millie ~7 months ago and I have been very impressed with the platform and team behind it. What I like most about Millie is how easily it tracks our community impact through company grants, individual donations and volunteer hours. We have also used the campaigns to integrate the platform into our culture, aligning it to the corporate giving programs we have had working "in the background" for year. We recently started partnering with our ERGs to sponsor campaigns that align with the initiatives they are promoting throughout the company. I also want to give the team behind Millie a shout out as they are incredible partners, helping us grow the platform, taking our feedback into consideration and offering a space through webinars to connect with other "changemakers" across companies and industries. They address how our work has been impacted by the economic situation and I so appreciate the transparency and support.

CONS

This is hard to say as I understand so many companies are suing this differently so my recommendations may not fit the wider population of users. One thing I wish we would have done sooner if have a meeting with the Millie team and our team that gathers and presents all ESG reporting. As an administrator, it can be difficult for me to understand what numbers need to be pulled and what reports to lean on but this conversation gave us all a better idea of what numbers our team needs and what intel Millie can provide.

Employee Resource(s) for Social Impact Benefits and Engagement Programs

The Millie team, beginning with [sensitive content hidden] has alway been inclusive, supportive and responsive. We've enjoyed meeting with other Millie users and have gained valuable insight from some of the idustry experts that Millie offers through their programming!

PROS

We like providing our employees with a resource that helps highlight their Social Impact benefits including volunteer days of service and matching charitable gifts. Millie serves as a catalyst for using their benefits and promoting non-profit organizations in our local communities.

CONS

Many of our employees like to direct their charitable gifts to support a family member, friend or co-worker as they participate in fundraising runs and walks. Our match capabilities have been limited as Millie's payment partner hasn't been able to direct match dollars to specific fundraisers and their fundrasing "event page". We appreciate that Millie has worked with us to create some solutions and we are hopeful that we might create better solutions in the future.

PROS

I appreciate how user-friendly the interface is and the ability to gamify giving with the giving madness brackets and the progress bars for donation campaigns.

CONS

I wish there were more features for the volunteer section such as being able to confirm whether someone who signed up for an event actually attended. I also wish Millie was integrated with ADP to easily track and connect volunteer hours logged into payroll reporting.
