Great benefits communication resource

Great. Their team is very responsive, easy to work with, and eager to help. Their resources have been huge wins for our clients and prospects.

PROS

The digital postcard has been the most impactful resource for our clients. It has replaced open enrollment meetings in many cases and has streamlined the communication of benefits for employees. Flimp's team is extremely responsive in creating the postcards as well, even during the busy time.

CONS

Not much! I wish PLANselect could be made for age banded plans but I do understand how that would be near impossible to do on the back end side. I have also started licensing the postcard creation piece so I can make the cards myself and that has been pretty simple to do.

Reason for choosing Flimp Communications

I can't recall names of other competitors, but any other option was extremely too expensive (i.e. massive design companies, etc.) and Flimp was very specific to benefits, which we liked.

Reasons for switching to Flimp Communications

To be more state of the art stand out from the competition.

Made a great decision

The Flimp studio has been a game-changer, I'm able to provide a resource site to my clients...a one stop shop. I really like that Flimp asks for constructive feedback and shares new ideas. Many times, I've said I need to solve for X and they bring several ideas to the table. When recommending Flimp directly to a client I really like that they start the project with most of the leg work done, no creating anything from scratch.

PROS

Ease of use! I like that with a small amount of technical knowledge you can figure out the Flimp studio quickly. It's flexible, easy to use, has great support and customer service. Customer service being one of the most important things to me. I've used this software for a long time, and I've had many moments where I need support and I needed it fast. I should be embarrassed about how attentive they are to me and my account.

CONS

The two things I would really like to see developed within the Flimp studio: better spellchecking feature and tables that aren't HTML only. Flimp has shared with me work arounds for these, but I'd like to see them developed into the studio. For direct communications that Flimp develops I have no constructive feedback.

USI Northeast Communications Feedback

A well-rounded benefit communications firm, I respect and appreciate the creativity, the depth of products, and quick turnaround for deliverables. If the Account Management software allowed for more flexibility in receiving edits and comments, I think clients would be even more satisfied.

PROS

Flimp is responsive to client and prospect inquiries. Customer Service is top notch. Well-rounded offerings. Impressive presentations/demos with USI clients and prospects.

CONS

Editing communication pieces is not as easy or turnkey is it could be. The software and specific process required to submit content revisions or visual edits is very manual, not intuitive, and clients have communicated difficulties.

Reason for choosing Flimp Communications

Flimp's pricing is generally competitive and in-line with similar products. The quality of work meets and often exceeds expectations. No complaints from clients on timing of deliverables either. Look forward to further work with the Flimp team.

Great People, Great Product

Really positive. I appreciate the team I work with and am happy to continue to promote Flimp to colleagues and new clients.

PROS

My favorite thing about the Flimp solution is the team we work with. They're responsive, detail oriented and flexible to the extent they can be. I'm amazed at how quickly and confidently they turn things around. I've also come to appreciate the template approach, which was new to me. It's a great product for the cost.

CONS

While I appreciate the template approach, I do struggle with some of the system limitations...or rather, my clients do. They ask for certain functionality that isn't available, even for an extra cost. I'd love to see the tech roadmap to know what's coming and when. I also find housing the content for the site in excel difficult to use, but the team has given me the flexibility to work with a Word manuscript, which I appreciate.

Broker feedback

What I most appreciate is that the clients for whom we've suggested Flimp are not let down relative to their experiences with Flimp. They receive excellent service and Flimp representatives do a terrific job of ensuring that the client implements the best product for their needs for the best price. Flimp makes the implementation process very easy, and employees love the product.

PROS

As a broker, I don't use the software, but please see comments for overall experience.

CONS

I support six clients and four use Flimp. I truly cannot think of anything I like least about the software, nor have any of my clients expressed anything negative about what Flimp offers and how the software works and supports their needs.
