NVOLV allows attendees to connect with exhibitors and sponsors on a chat interface. Users can gamify the event app in different ways such as QR code treasure hunts, polls and raffles.

It offered a way for our conference attendees to stay informed and more involved. It also allowed us to highlight our sponsors and exhibitors so it served as another benefit to them. By posting on the app, we were able to avoid having to print our documents thereby saving us dollars.

Next time we will work on getting an exclusive "branded" app so that we can post our attendee contact information and make it available only to our users. The earlier you start, the more you can make available on your app for your event.

We use this app for our first ever National Nonprofit Conference. Already a lot of news for the conference we were apprehensive about using an app for the first time as well. How clean it looks. Very user-friendly. If you are not used to navigating apps it is still easy to navigate. Very simple.
Get started early. You want time for your staff to familiarize themselves with the app so if questions do arrive they can be resolved quickly.
