A very functional well designed piece of software
I have helped people to select 5he software and then talked to them after implementation to see if it lived up to the claims and I am yet to find anyone who is disappointed.
PROSSoftware should be relatively easy to install. Once installed it should do the job for which it is designed with intuitive ease. It should be cost effective. If should offer decent quality support. It should be something that you take pride in using as it helps you to do a better job. Accountagility oryx plan meets all of those criteria. I would suggest that few of its competitors can.
CONSThe biggest problem faced is that Accountagility are up against the big names like IBM, oracle, SAP etc, and they come in cheaper, offer a faster implementation time, and look to do everything that the competitors can do, but probably a bit better. It makes it hard to convince people used to paying a lot for a little that this is a truly viable option.

Oryx Planning
I really enjoy the application, I believe it is competitive in the market in terms of functionality, it allows me to achieve my organizational goals, implement change in the an easy manner, without extensive IT involved. In a dynamic finance environment where change is required frequently, is it a perfect tool to meet organizational objectives.
PROSThe flexibility of the tool is excellent, allows users to customize rules to meet business needs in a logical way.
CONSIt can difficult for finance users to get up to speed with the system, as some of the configurations are presented in a way that is more familiar for users with IT experience to use. The caveat with this is, my company are still on an old version of the system.

Recommended value for money planning solution
Seamless integration / Data Security: Ability to configure multiple stages review / Analysis module which includes cubes and option to generate custom reports/ Version control/ Auditing information/ Rules engine module is extremely powerful and allows the user to play around and customize according to specific business needs/ Facilitates communication between multiple users using different notification methods
CONSThe look and feel can be misinterpreted and users can find it a bit daunting . The last time I heard they were investing a lot in changing the appearance and make it more sophisticated and accessible to different type of users

There is still a way to go as this is a journey but the Accountagility team differentiate themselves from others by their agile approach and ability to understand customer needs.
PROSVersatile and usability, the product and team are able to take a complex process and automate it into a push at the button standard report.
CONSNothing was apparent in the current proof of concept
