Reaching a wider, more diverse community

We are consulting on our new Local Plan, which in the past has usually attracted responses from a very limited and narrow range of local community members. Give My View was not only fun and easy to use, it enabled us to reach an extremely impressive number of people who would not normally engage with the Local Plan. Overall, it has been an excellent experience with fantastic support from the Built-ID team, who go out of their way to help and offer solutions to our many asks. We were able to provide the survey in nine community languages - a real achievement.

PROS

Building a survey was fun and easy, helped by excellent knowledgeable staff. Using Give My View was a new and exciting way for us to consult with our community and to reach people we don't normally get a chance to engage with. The software is easy to use, very intuitive and the resulting surveys look really good. The results of our first survey so far have gone way beyond our expectations.

CONS

We would like a way to capture email addresses for people who want to be contacted about more consultation, without having any feedback box and still have the privacy notice etc. Feedback box where we can choose the number of characters allowed. More flexibility in some of the question formats - maybe a way of building your own bespoke question format?

Best online platform for surveys and engagement - has given us record responses.

Excellent. The entire engagement project has been a massive success due to the platform itself and the account support provided. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has gone above and beyond to pull things out of the bag at very short notice. The digital marketing aspect is also an effective addition to the platform.

PROS

Really easy to use, very visually appealing and the reporting in the back end is excellent. The customisation element is also fantastic as allows for a very professional look and feel.

CONS

For the survey , I would like a way to see the entire user journey starting from the landing page in a PDF and not just the user journey starting from Q1.

Social survey

Support was exceptional!

PROS

We used an online social media-based survey and the functionality was great to build the survey, as well as adapt it and send it live - also great to have access to lifestyle stock images was good.

CONS

Having to remember to save each time, rather than an auto-save being in place

Great engagement tool

Overall an excellent experience so far, having run two very successful public consultations using the platform

Very easy and attractive platform that can reach out to today's digital-savvy and digital-preferring audience, especially the young. Also, great customer support and responsiveness to client needs.

Perhaps more functionality and scope for customising, especially question branching, character limits in questions, question types, response scales

We have been able to reach a large number of residents to get good feedback that would have taken a significant amount of person power and time to obtain otherwise. We have done in 3 weeks with Give My View what may have taken up to 3 months without it.

PROS

The ease of use. The information for us in house has been easy to interpret but most importantly it has appeared to be very easy for our residents to access and use which we expect has increased engagement.

CONS

There isn't anything that we would change and at this point feel as though we have gained exactly what we need.

Give My View - first survey review

We are improving our customer engagement which is high up on our business agenda at the moment - this initial survey is a great start so we are really pleased with the results.

PROS

The easy to use features worked perfectly for us. Our audience is Practice Managers of medical centres so ease of use was really important. We have had the highest number of survey responses ever, by a significant number. I can't comment too much more on usage as BuiltID acted as our admin for a pilot survey.

CONS

Hard to comment on this at the moment, until we have access to admin rights and perhaps do a couple more surveys.
