About OPERA Cloud Distribution

Opera Cloud Distribution offers channel management connected directly to the source, which allows customers to have a centralized database of hotel prices. In a single platform users can activate, manage and engage each channel independently – removing intermediaries and administrative needs. Additionally, the central platform allows hotels to instantly react to new business requirements and perform adjustments when needed. Managers can add descriptions for rooms and view their availability status based on specific dates and generate administrative reports that can be filtered based on property name, activity range, reservations or room assignments.

A great software with an old look

PROS

It is easy to use in general. Most of the big hotel chains use it and live it because of the easy way of connecting it with different other software.

CONS

The look. The old opera looks and feels like win 95. After so many years I think it’s time to refresh it.

Opera PMS 5.6.16.6 Cloud Version too many bugs

Oracle needs to improve their after sales support. Super slow in support.

PROS

It's a cloud-based system. Less hassle to IT on Preventive Maintenan d.

CONS

Simple reports has an error as in you cannot create a new one. Many bugs.
