The most reliable solution for managing high-capacity wireless networks
There are solutions that allow companies to reduce installation costs, maintenance of an entire IT infrastructure for the provision of services such as wireless access points to schools, universities, concert halls and parks; with Cisco Meraki all these operating costs are reduced to the maximum expression and you have the guarantee that the equipment used are of the highest quality withstanding extreme environmental and physical conditions and still providing very stable connections, with this we can say that Cisco Meraki is a step ahead in terms of wireless connection.
PROSOur company focused its eyes on Cisco Meraki for several important reasons such as: minimum infrastructure costs since the implementation does not require the physical installation of advanced equipment or data centers since all the infrastructure is in the cloud, this also eliminates maintenance costs that operationally demanded a considerable investment, secure and highly reliable wireless networks capable of supporting connections under the 802.11 ac standard in the order of Gbps, management from a single central platform and accessible from anywhere in the world.
CONSThe total dependence of the MR devices to the internet connection limits a little the management of our operative personnel that performs the repairs in all the zones, it is clear that for the cases where the internet connection fails, the local access to the access point is operative but when it is required to implement some access policy or special configurations in some points, the access through the central console by an administrator is obligatorily required.

A good solution for SMB
It's been good for the most part. It takes a while to find things as I came from a Cisco only shop but it is usable by people who have no network experience if you need someone like that to be able to vlan a port or something like that.
PROSIt is easier to install and maintain than most similar products. You can easily establish vpn's between owned devices with dynamic ip addresses.
CONSRan into an issue recently where you can not define access for Software VPN clients to networks that are vpn connected that are not Meraki.
Reasons for switching to Cisco Meraki
It came with this job. The last place I worked ran full blooded Cisco products which wile they have more features generally, are a lot more complicated to deploy.

Dated, Unreliable MDM
We started using Meraki a long time ago when there was a free option for the MDM, which was a great boon to the organization. We paid for support for a while when we needed it, which was reasonable at the time. Since then, the free program ended, and now the pricing is higher than most of the competitors. We could get over having to issue app push commands over and over when it was free, but having to pay a premium for one of the less reliable MDMs we've tested just wasn't in the cards, so we ended up switching. It's certainly not a horrible option, especially if you have an all-Meraki network and can manage everything in one place, but if you're just in it for the MDM like we were, there are better options out there, especially ones with smoother automation and ease of use.
PROSInitially free, it implemented everything we needed for mobile device management for Apple devices.
CONSWith the free programs ended, Meraki became one of the most expensive options, which made its other flaws less tolerable. Commands to devices often fail with cryptic messages that require lots of manual retries.

Meraki Firewalls
It is very easy and intuitive to manage and support is always responsive and helpful
CONSA lot of the needed log information is missing from the customer portal - you need to contact support for it. Does not play very nice with third-party firewalls for site-to-site VPNs
