VxWorks

VxWorks® is a real-time operating system (RTOS) designed for embedded systems, with a focus on enabling safe, secure, and reliable deployments. It is featured in projects from car infotainment systems to jet controllers to the Perseverance rover. Wind River continues to innovate, as each update brings new features and capabilities to the VxWorks RTOS. For example, VxWorks was the first RTOS to support new and upcoming languages such as C++17 and Rust, and tools including Docker. This makes it easier for developers to produce applications in the way that they prefer while keeping up with a rapidly changing software development environment.
