Awesome tool for meetings and tasks

We spent a lot of time on calls in MS teams each day, everyone was sick of it. Complish helped us move that conversation into a focused space, so we've just about halved the time we spend in meetings each day.

Pros

I love that Complish helps everyone in the team plan and communicate what they're working on. For meetings it's also really helped us focus and cut down unnecessary meeting time. We now get to the meetings and everyone's on the same page already.

Cons

I'd love to be able to tag discussions so I can group conversations and notes that are about the same topic.

Reasons for Choosing Complish

We were looking for a tool not just for meeting notes, but to help us move to more asynchronous communication since we have people working across a few timezones.

Visually appealing. Love the style and how it's structured.

It has been a great experience. I already recommended it to my sister who is a new marketing manager.

Pros

I've been working remotely for many years now. I was looking for a simple tool that can easily manage tasks between a small team without it overwhelming. I also need something visual and just a breeze to set up. I especially love that when you create a task, it can be connected to a Goal. You can easily see whether you're on or off track. I also love checking in. It has become my habit to start work by checking in. At first, it was just me, then when other teammates started to join, it's so cool to see everyone's check-in. You can also connect it to Slack, so you can see when someone checks in. I still use Notion to manage the specific details of a piece of content, but I use Complish to track major goals with the team and discuss the big-vision of projects that we're working on.

Cons

Nothing major. There were some bugs that created extra characters when copying and pasting.

Great for small teams who don't want tons of calls

Highly recommend for remote teams.

Pros

Our team is a bunch of introverts and we try to run a remote team with less Zoom calls. Complish makes it easy to do that because we can check in and jump in discussions any time we want but still be on track of everything.

Cons

Hopefully more integrations in the future.

Love it to improve our team meetings

The design is great, easy to get our team started using it, but overall the difference it’s made to the way we now run meetings has been impactful.

Pros

We love the automated daily standups (sent to Slacl) and the fact that the tasks that come out of our meetings are actually assigned and remembered. Really helps keep everyone accountable.

Cons

I’d love to see some more integrations.

Simplified async collaboration at it's best!

Our team uses Complish mostly to check in and provide a general update on our day. There are about 15 people using the software on my campaign and a few other campaign managers who use it within their teams.

Pros

The simplicity! Complish allows us to bring together the tools we're already using into one place and provides a space for us to easily check in with each other and collaborate asynchronously.

Cons

Right now the onboarding is quite basic, which isn't the worst thing ever, but I imagine that as they add features to the product, the onboarding process could use a little upgrade.
