Easy, Precise Targeting

PROS

SharpSpring Ads enables precision targeting, selecting clients on the SharpSpring List level. For our clients, that means being able to target based on application or product interest. We've also found it very useful for promoting webinars by targeting just contacts that opened emails but have not yet registered. On top of the targeting, we have control over which websites ads will appear on - giving the clients peace of mind of where their brand is being displayed.

CONS

Not a real con, but being able to select website inventory in advance would be a plus.

Sharpspring Ads a Power House for E-Commerce

The team have been incredibly helpful in both set up and implementation. I've been very impressed with the degree of support offered. The on boarding was good and the training documentation etc is thorough. We are seeing positive results and look forward to it making a substantial impact on clients businesses in the future.

PROS

Easy campaign development. Meaningful tracking of ROI thanks to the attribution engine. Access to over 200 ad exchanges. Great integration with Sharpspring for overall sales and marketing reporting. Geo targeting.

CONS

REGEX set up can be a bit difficult if you don't have access to a developer internally however the team were very helpful and gave really good guidance on how to do the set up.

Reason for choosing SharpSpring Ads

I trust the functionality of the Sharpspring platform and Sharpspring Ads integrates well with it. The support team were brilliant with the Sharpspring on boarding and implementation which gave huge confidence for rolling out Sharpspring ads. The pricing on it was very competitive and the usability is great.

Entry Level Digital Advertising

We used Perfect Audience for display retargeting and Facebook retargeting. We saw a decent ROAS but the lack of features and the poor dashboard and reporting tools led us to switch to a different product.

PROS

Easy to use platform. Good entry level features, including retargeting capabilities. Uploading creatives are very easy.

CONS

The dashboard did not work well. Seemed clunky. Too basic of a platform and didn't allow for advanced targeting. The dashboard would hardly ever work the way it should. The reporting feature was also pretty horrible. I don't even think the filtering feature works at all either.

SgarpSpring Ads is a Game Changer

The overall experience has been positive. We have been using it since conception and have been implementing it every day. The results are positive and we would recommend those contemplating using the service to jump in and just get started building an audience. It is very straight forward and exciting to watch it do its magic.

PROS

The software is really intuitive and it helps us grab the low hanging fruit for those interested in the products or services we offer. The ability to custom make graphics and display them on the network for a reasonable cost has netted us quite a bit of work that we would have not had the opportunity before. It is a perfect match for our SharpSpring instance as we can get all the metrics and see what is going on with the conversions in real time.

CONS

We like the platform just the way it is. At this time there would be no improvement needed.

Great add-on

Is it the best advertising platform in the world? I don't know, but as an add-on to your Marketing Automation, this is a very powerful tool. With the CRM and Automation capabilities of SharpSpring, you can select and create audiences that you can target directly with the Ads add-on (you can use it standalone as well, but I haven't used it that way).

PROS

Creating audiences within SharpSpring's CRM makes for very powerful targeting. All the actions and events that people undertake can be used to create segments that you can target with personalized offers.

CONS

Reporting is not the best and as an agency with a B2B focus, we really miss LinkedIn as a channel.
