Excellent OHLCV data feed for Excel
Easy to use, the UI for the Excel add-in is very self-explanatory and "it just works."
PROSExcel Price Feed leverages the Yahoo Finance pricing data for US equities, and so if you do not need tick-by-tick data for trades, this is a great resource because it has no additional cost. The other "feature" of this software that makes the difference is that the developers are open to new ideas and can implement new features for you if they see an opportunity. It's been a great tool for working with up-to-date daily US equity prices in Excel, I looked high and low and tried two competitors, but no one comes close to Excel Price Feed's speed and reliability.
CONSI am hoping for a Google Sheets Add-In someday, I understand Excel is by far the biggest platform, but this would be a great way to leverage the GOOGLEFINANCE formulas and/or extend stock analysis functionality in Google Sheeets.
Reason for choosing Excel Price Feed
Excel Price Feed was the only provider who could provide same-day updates to OHLCV data.
Reasons for switching to Excel Price Feed
MarketXLS was too slow for my needs.

Made the process of researching for my pitches incredibly easy.
The ability to effortlessly integrate real-time data into Excel with a few clicks is the best feature of Excel Price Feed. Excel remains the gold standard when it comes to data analysis, with EPF serving as the cherry on top.
CONSWhen compared to other options on the market, I find the product's pricing to be quite unsatisfactory, and as Excel works to integrate this feature internally, buying the product becomes increasingly uncertain.

Excel Price Feed review
Great. Very responsive to emails and notifications. I researched and tried others and the very few excel format feeders that there are don’t come close. It is also the only one out there that gives you pre and post market feeds.
PROSIt’s a fast cost effective way to map out your positions using a spreadsheet. Easy to set up and the feed allows you to create whatever internal formulas you choose to show.
CONSThere are times when functionality is interrupted bc of the back feeds or coding from the feeds. Happens maybe once every [sensitive content hidden] to three months. The vendor will quickly fix it to resolve whatever feed issue caused it.

Great Excel Plugin
We have been using Excel Price Feed over the last few years and are among the few early adopters. It does what it is supposed to, so I recommend it!
PROSReliable access to stock quotes via Excel. Fast customer support in the rare times the plugin experienced an issue retrieving the data.
CONSNothing really. The plugin is well-made.
