FreeTaxUSA is an easy to use free tax prep program.

PROS

This software allows you to prepare your taxes for free! It’s very user friendly.

CONS

The only issue I had with this software is that it would require me to log in twice in a row sometimes. Seemed like an odd glitch.

Consistently Accurate

Accurate, quickly completed my return.

PROS

It uses a comprehensive interview format and recalls pertinent info from the previous year return. Takes minimum time for federal and state returns!

CONS

I have no negatives. It gave me my prior year info and that helps.

Consider another Tax Preparer Software

Im unhappy because i have to find another software to use and my tax return got rejected 4 times because of the wrong pin error.

PROS

Easy navigation and smooth design you can check your work all over and over again without having any issues

CONS

There is this part of the form you need to put IPPIN and the field box is only 5 digit. But the IPPIN issued by irs to me is 6 digits.

Reasons for switching to FreeTaxUSA

It's not available in the irs website and I can't afford the premium ones.
