Gainsight - a wonderful tool for your sales toolbelt
Overall, this is a wonderful product and is super valuable for efficiency and effectiveness for serving your customer base.
PROSRich and customizable account health scores that can be embedded in other sites like Salesforce. It’s a great product to organize your accounts and track progress and how to best service your customers.
CONSI would prefer to have the site have separate Urls for each tab instead of it populating as you scroll down the page - it makes for latency issues at times.

On the path to customer success
Being provided with more knowledge about our customer's behaviour is a fundamental strategic tool to understand our successes but also our failures. Gainsight PX helped us identify and map low engagement by customers, which translates into determining where customers needed assistance and what features must be improved.
PROSWe love every in app interaction, particularly banners, sliders, and tours. We also really like the engagement and survey analytics available. Overall, this is a fantastic solution that will help you serve your client base more effectively.
CONSPX might be challenging to learn and master. It took us a while to master the product mapper and some of the other analytical tools. And we are still learning with the tutorials to gain insight on other/new ways the product can be used.
Reason for choosing Gainsight PX
PX enabled us to develop in-app interactions and target users who might not frequently utilize our product to its full potential. We can broaden consumer use cases and get their input simply with connections to our Knowledge Center and in-app NPS.

Gainsight PX Review
I like the ability to track usage data of the products. To see who has been in the solution and how often.
CONSWhen filtering to check usage data say, for a 30 day window, to have the number of times a user has logged in during that 30 day window. As opposed to seeing just the last time they were in the system and the total lifetime number of logins.

Great tool to track adoption!
The more I find in Gainsight PX, the more satisfaction I get! I'm able to truly help our clients. The only thing is - I don't like having to find it.
PROSI love being able to view adoption by a client at the institution level. We work with higher education institutions, and we're able to see overall who is logging into the platform and who is using it through Gainsight PX. It helps us to find clients who aren't using the product so we can be proactive to help them!
CONSGainsight is not super user friendly, and I wish it was easier to export data. Seeing users and such is great, but sometimes I just want a monthly email of the total users for a platform. That may be a thing that's available, but I haven't been able to figure it out on my own. I'm also just the end user, not the owner of the software.

Gainsight Usage Review
Love that I can find users of any campus and how many times they are coming into our different sites. Also like that I can make reports sent out to me on a cadence.
CONSnot the easiest to use when trying to learn how to use functions. multiple steps to just get to one thing.
