Great Modern AP Automation Tool
Glean is very easy to set up and use, and integrates easy with QBO and NS.
CONSGlean now has releases automated accruals which is a great new feature that was originally missing.

The Complete Package - Great Features, Easy to Use, Top Notch Support
Glean has made our accounting processes so much better and has saved us significantly by preventing us from overpaying our vendors.
PROSGlean helps us automate most of our AP/invoice management and allows us to focus on the things that matter most. It is so intuitive to use and offers features I've never seen before from competitors.
CONSCan't think of a single negative. It works as advertised and all new features that they release have worked flawlessly.

Glean - great ROI for finance teams
Overall - in meeting with [sensitive content hidden] I felt the Glean product had a great UI and they were on the right track in solving overall financial innovation. There was a point where they showed me the automated accruals and I immediately said to myself this Company really gets it.
PROSI have liked the following in using Glean:- Smooth transition from bill.com: In less than a week we were up and running with support from our [sensitive content hidden] in CS.- Saves time: the process of a bill being submitted to our AP inbox, the bill being automatically uploaded into glean, the invoice details being read, and auto routed to the approver has saved us 50% of a full-time headcount cost (and not to mention reduced mistakes).- Easy to use UI: I felt like when we were using bill.com it was like going into an accounting software. With glean - the carts and interface is very easy to use so that both the finance team and budget owners can find information very quickly.- Gleans allow us to be on track of our vendors and have a baseline for contract negotiations - which has already saved us a significant amount of money on software contracts- The automation on accruals and prepaids is saving us additional time in the close - the company is dead on in finding the pain points and manaul financial processes and automating.Overall, Our finance team has been very pleased with Glean and has provided us with a strong ROI in terms of time and dollars saved.
CONSThere was a brief period of time where the software was slightly laggy for a couple of days - but the Company has since upgraded their servers and this is no longer an issue.
Reasons for switching to Glean
I started at my Company on the FP&A side - and I found it impossible to find anything in bill.com. The easy to navigate system in Glean was the biggest advantage from the get go.

Quick and Efficient
Wonderful, it has been an enormous time saving for our accounting department.
PROSThe ability to make easily route approvals and make payments to vendors. It's also great that the vendors enter their own banking information.
CONSNeed to be able to click through multiple invoices (view previous invoice or next invoice/skip past invoices that are not ready for approval).

Glean allowed me to expand my role at my company because it freed up so much of my time!
Been a user for over a year now, and I cannot ever go back! Glean has single-handedly made my life easier and allowed me to expand my role at my company because it freed up so much of my time! What used to take 20 hours per week and about 5 people now can be done by one individual!
PROSAside from being easy to use, the service offers so many useful solutions to more complicated billing needs! We receive a host of invoices from different clients that need to be paid out of different accounts, and Glean easily allows us to organize between each matter. The spend tracking and automatic graphs are also quite useful, as are the gleans themselves which update us on particular spending patterns we should be mindful of. Overall, a super efficient service!
CONSCan't say I dislike anything! I've had nothing but positive experiences in the year I've been using Glean. For sure do not wish to go back to processing invoices without the service.

Responsive & High Touch Team. Great product w/bright future
The Glean team is very receptive to product feedback and is quick to act on the input. Very excited for upcoming features that will allow us to have a comprehensive view of expenses across AP & external sources which will help optimize our FP&A forecasting & accrual processes. It is clear from conversations with the Glean team that they plan to consistently add new features to make Glean a central expense hub while still optimizing for the core product.Additionally, the ability to set reminders for contract renewal dates helps us keep tabs on vendor agreements and ensure we act in a timely manner w/r/t negotiations.
