Hopscotch, the invoicing platform that saved my business.
This platform has saved me enough money to consider it vital to my business, I love it!
PROSI love how easy Hopscotch is to use and how affordable it is. Me and my clients don't have to pay additional ACH fees which saves me and them money, and it allows me to send invoices to clients that don't need the "royal treatment" of receiving invoices, contracts, and more from my main CRM. I can quickly invoice a client with a simple or detailed invoice.
CONSI wish I could edit the contact info more.
Reason for choosing Hopscotch
It has zero ACH fees which is mainly how I get paid.

Making my business life easier!
Hopscotch has not only be an amazing tool for my business, but it's saved me money! The customer service that I've received has also been exemplary. I hands down recommend Hopscotch to anyone!
PROSI love that I don't have to pay processing fees! That's why I initially signed up! But, I've also come to love how simple the invoice processing has become for me.
CONSI wish the accounting area was a little more user friendly. I would love a dashboard view where I can see everything at a glance. Running reports would be great also!

I didn't find any other alternative that peaked my interest or that I was considering at all.

I was looking to minimize costs in my business. I came across Hopscotch on LinkedIn and signed up because of zero payment processing fees.

Easily pass on credit card fee to customers
The reason I chose Hopscotch was because it not only allowed me to easily create invoices and for my customers to pay them, but it allows me to pass along the credit card fee to the client should they choose to pay with credit card.
CONSI've had clients who have had issues paying with credit card on Hopscotch. Both myself and my clients have had to contact customer support, with little to no resolution when these issues arise, which creates a less than ideal user experience, which doesn't reflect great on me as the service provider even though it has nothing to do with me.

Lumanu no longer offered the invoicing features I needed.

Absolutely loved this transformative payment solution for my business
The real-time payment feature of Hopscotch has been a game-changer for my software business. It's incredibly efficient, allowing for instant transactions with no fees! Incredible! The platform is user-friendly and integrates seamlessly with my existing systems, making it an indispensable tool for daily operations. The cost savings have been substantial; Hopscotch has saved me thousands in fees that I would have otherwise incurred with traditional payment systems/methods.
CONSHonestly, there's nothing to dislike about it. Who doesn't love fee-free payments...

Highly Recommend for Freelancing
Overall I love this platform. I appreciate it being affordable for freelancers and this platform offers more than Quickbooks. It makes my administrative work faster and easier with just a few clicks to send an invoice and collect payment.
PROSI like that I don't have to incur the credit card fees if my client chooses to use their card.
CONSI have had a few clients tell me that their payment methods don't work. This has only happened to me a few times and I had to collect payment an alternative way. This could be user error though.

Because I was incurring an insane amount of credit card fees and the process was clunky for the client.

Fee free processing
By delaying receipt of funds by a day or two, I am able to avoid the overpriced feature in Quickbooks.
CONSUnable to create an invoice template, takes more time when inputting an invoice.
Reasons for switching to Hopscotch
QB charges a percentage for credit cards, and $3 per ACH.

Hopscotch saved me thousands
At first I signed up for Hopscotch just for the fee-free payment processing, which wound up saving thousands of dollars in transaction fees alone. However after using it as a my go-to invoicing app for the last year I've also come to love their ease-of-use, customer support, overall simplicity, and innovative solutions. Now for my recurring clients who have also signed up for Hopscotch, sending invoices and getting paid is just as easy as using Venmo, where invoices can be fulfilled in just a few clicks.
CONSIt's hard getting existing clients to switch away from payment processors they're used to or already signed up for. Sometimes introducing Hopscotch into the conversation adds a bit of friction and makes things complicated - especially if their payment method isn't compliant or if they prefer to use something else. This issue used to be even more prevalent before Hopscotch added credit card processing. As they continue to improve, this gets significantly better though.

I love hopscotch for fee-free invoicing
My favorite feature is the fee-free invoicing, easy invoices, and auto reminders to clients to pay on time (and continual reminders when they pay late)
CONSI wish I could email the invoice to more than one email address
