CVEDIA solution review for crowd estimation and people counting for various use cases
Overall, CVEDIA models seem to have better accuracy than other alternatives. They also work faster, use less system resources.
CONSWhile our understanding of the CVEIDA solution may not be comprehensive, it appears to have limitation when it comes to conducting multi-camera or video stream analyses using multiple instances concurrently in an integrated UI.
Reasons for switching to CVEDIA-RT
We're trying to make the switch to achieve better performance with more accurate models that CVEDIA provides.

We are using video camera as a parking sensor. Our application is reading detected car in video steam and places them on a map. Any number of cameras can be used to cover parking lot and usage of cameras is just much more convenient and cost efficient then a parking sensors.
PROSIt's detection accuracy. Integration in our software was successful once we understood how to change basic settings.
CONSWe found it hard to customize, tech support is excellent, but getting the right type of data from CVEDIA was a struggle for us.
Reason for choosing CVEDIA-RT
Using CVEDIA new functionality can be given to existing video cameras. For example, old cameras overlooking the parking lot can be used as parking sensor without the need to replace them with new cameras.
