It Does What is Says
What I have found extremely helpful is we are able to add certain distinctions to each customer to help us to group customers by their type of business and generate reports accordingly. This has helped our leadership team to evaluate our sales team in multiple ways and address weaknesses quicker.
PROSNot a sexy title, but apt. I use the reporting features quite often to evaluate sales and guide initiatives for our team and for our vendors. Placing a sales order is easy to do and easy to learn. The sales features are very intuitive for beginners and allows every user to maximize their time and work to their level.
CONSThey are updating their options all of the time so things I usually don't like about it get changed. I would like more options in the reporting features and the ability to access some of the cloud based reports while using the desktop version. The desktop version does use a lot of memory and can slow your devices down if you don't stay on top of it. Also, if the program doesn't shut down properly then it does cause issues the next time you open it back up.

Software that drives my business
MarketTime is the gold standard in my specialty gift/home decor industry.
PROSMarketTime (Brandwise) was thoughtful and through when we inplemented it 10 years ago. They listen when I need a specific report to analyse my daily sales. If they don't have an existing report, they adapt one or create one.
CONSNothing comes to mind, in my opinion and each of my 30 users on this system, they are responsive

MarketTime Overview
MarketTime is the cornerstone of our company. Period. A cornerstone that gives us a competitive advantage over our competitors.
PROSThere are very few software options for sale rep agencies that truly cover all aspects of our business from order writing to commission reconciliation. I extensively researched software for our company before choosing RepTime (MarketTime predecessor). MarketTime's support staff is the best and is always there when we need guidance.
CONSOur industry functions differently from many others in how orders are written. Currently the ability to write one order with multiple ship dates is not as simple as we would like. We are a very data driven agency and rely heavily on reporting and analytics. Improvement on customization of reports will be a welcome improvement.

By far superior in every aspect.
Reasons for switching to MarketTime
Antiquated and very difficult to manage items and write orders. Reporting was simple and effective but they just did not stay on top of their game.

Brandwise side of MarketTime
Very nice! This program is critical for our operations and gathering our source of income!
PROSThis is a program that works for all sectors of our business! All of the possible ways for reps to use the program is great! The reporting tools are handy for the reps and admin. Full back office capabilities for rep agencies is something not offered on a lot of platforms like commissions, territory set-ups, customer coding, and brand management make our work much easier! Everything we need is all in one place! On top of that we can reach and grow our customer base with our B2B ecommerce platform!
CONSParts of it are outdated...they work fine, but it would be nice to not look at 1990 Microsoft interfaces. It would also be nice if reporting had an exclusion option.

CONScobbled together. for instance, approving a retailer to shop is a cumbersome process. C-track- old software. there must be a simpler way to pay commissions

MarketTime is the software of CHOICE
I've been using its form in one way or another since 1999. That should tell you enough about my experience. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't keep paying for it.
PROSCustomer information and reporting are my two favorite. The intuitiveness of the order writing process is also important to me. Especially for entering credit cards.
CONSI can only break down information to 3 or 4 levels. I cannot run a report on what customers have NOT ordered a particular item for a selected vendor.
