Great way to organize and review contracts made with vendors through our hedge fund!

Great tool to use for tracking contracts!

PROS

This software has many features and aspects of functionality that made following vendor's contracts really easy and efficient!

CONS

It takes a huge learning curve to be able to figure out how to use the functionality of this software! I definitely needed more instruction/help!

Contract Review and so much more

Our previous contract review process was to update and share files via a server with manual email notices going back and forth. This will speed up our process and more importantly track everyone's comments in the documents and in the workflow, while providing us a "one-stop shop" for contract documents.

PROS

We really appreciate the Parent-Child relationships and Amendment features in the software. This allows us to run other forms/documents through the workflow and have them attached to the primary contract document. This has become a one stop shop for documents and info pertaining to contracts. The support team could not be better! Typical response time is less than an hour and they are always ready to hop on a call, share screens and actually experience the issues we may have run into. We have had all issues resolved with training or updates to the software. Their support portal is great self-service tool that we have used for troubleshooting as well as helping us to develop our internal training guides.

CONS

Our only con so far is that the Contract Specialist role has two distinct steps to take in order to setup a contract for review - but it is not a big deal - just requires a little more training since the second step does not show up in the Pending Tasks list.

Empowering Contract Management with ConvergePoint: An IT User's Review

I've learned the value of having a centralized platform for managing contracts in my role as an IT user of ConvergePoint Contract Management software. Our contract management process was manual and dispersed before we started using this software, which caused delays, missed deadlines, and a lack of understanding of our responsibilities. However, since implementing ConvergePoint, our contract management process has been streamlined and made more effective. The auto-reminders make sure we never again forget a deadline, and the real-time dashboard gives us a complete overview of our contracts. Collecting electronic signatures has been made simple thanks to the integration with DocuSign, and finding the information we require has been made simple thanks to the targeted search tool. ConvergePoint Contract Management has all things considered, changed the game for our business and significantly enhanced our contract management procedure.

PROS

For our company, the Office 365 SharePoint integration has been a game-changer because it has allowed us to manage the entire contract lifecycle in a single location. We can see every one of our contracts in detail thanks to the real-time dashboard, and we can keep track of all due dates and renewals with the help of in-depth reports.It makes it simple for us to prioritize contracts and negotiate terms with outside legal teams, the vendor negotiation feature has been especially helpful. We are able to manage who has access to confidential contract information thanks to the platform's role-based access feature, which makes sure we are always in compliance with rules set by the industry. We can conduct criteria-based searches using the targeted search tool, which is a useful tool that makes it simpler to find the information we need quickly.

CONS

The platform on which the software is built, Microsoft SharePoint, can be challenging for users to use. Users may need some time to become accustomed to the interface and learn how to use the various features efficiently.The software occasionally has a tendency to lag and run slowly, which is a problem when trying to access large contract files. This may slow down the contract management process and irritate users.The lack of a mobile app for the software is another drawback for users who need to access contract information on the go. This can make it challenging for users to stay on top of their contract management duties and quickly respond to requests.Last but not least, the software lacks some other platforms' levels of customization. Users may not be able to fully customize the platform to suit their unique needs and requirements as a result.

Best Contract Management Software in Microsoft

PROS

This contract management software streamlines the entire contract management process on the SharePoint platform. The contract tracking software helps you manage each contract from beginning to end and everything in between. I like that you can collaborate with your team and share notes while reviewing documents separately. I also like that it notifies you of upcoming deadlines and expiration dates.

CONS

I definitely recommend taking a course or getting some type of training to be able to use this software to its full potential. It's a great software, but there are a lot of features I wouldn't have been able to figure out on my own if it were not for some training.

It's a very useful software for those doing business with contracts and licences.

You need to get used to it for a while, it may be a little complicated for the ones who are new to these kind of softwares.

Overall positive experience - would definitely recommend.

Enhanced tracking of our contracts was the best feature.

PROS

Lots of features and functionality made this software a good move for our business. We were able to really enhance the way we tracked our contracts.

CONS

Because of all the new features and functionality, it was a bit of learning curve to figure out how to navigate around, and initially, it felt cumbersome in that respect. But we quickly learned to appreciate how this software made our lives easier in the end.

It helps you manage your contracts, create a contract from drafts easily and keep your documents and contacts in order.

You need to get a bit used to it for sometime but after that is very easy to use.
