Fax2mail, No need for a fax machine

This has worked for my business for over 10 years now. It has consistently worked for me.

PROS

I was able to eliminate the need for a fax machine, however to fax out, one does need a scanner. Streamlined all my emails and work faxes together.

CONS

When people decide to fax me way too many pages, I pay extra . Also, fax2mail is under the umbrella of a giant company so I had a hard time finding customer support for a simple question. The only way to communicate seems to be email.

Reasons for switching to OpenText Media Management

Over 10 years ago when I moved offices and didn't have a phone line available for my fax machine.

Simple and easy

PROS

OpenText Media Management is a very easy to use tool that holds the necessary functionalities and does those well.

CONS

It's a simple tool that doesn't do more than it needs. I can't think of anything that I don't like about OpenText Media Management

OpenText Management Software for Engineers

Overall okay, I wouldn't jump out and buy the software right away unless you are concerned about how to store documents. Nice web interface, but that's where it ends for me.

PROS

Good way to store and tag your documents for easy searching later on.

CONS

Takes a lot longer to file documents that on a network drive, sometimes too long and not worth the effort.
