SharpSpring a full marketing automation platform everyone

Our experience with Sharpspring has been very satisfactory, since it gives us control over each client from the moment they are born as a lead until they become a client. has given us to reduce response time to a client and have better control of all actions taken with them through Automation

Pros

Powerful tools for lead generation to pretty good customer management, tons of options to personalize a lot of aspect of the company. very good tools for building email marketing and landing pages with out third parties

Cons

I think one point where sharpspring lose flexibility is on landing page creations, how designer we need more tools for layout.

SharpSpring is full featured, low price, and amazing tech and account support

I've helped a number of businesses drive revenue with this software and it always drives more revenue for them. Of course, you have to understand how marketing automation works (I teach it at a local business school) and how to use the software correctly but there is a ton of documentation and how-to videos and when that fails, there's always a support person to walk you though whatever you're trying to do and they stick with you. My "customer success manager" will even get on the phone with a prospective client and help with a demo. Just a great company

Pros

I love the way the tracking is displayed on a timeline so you can see everywhere a prospect went. The built-in CRM and sales funnel pics up where the marketing funnel leaves off and keeps the automation going during and after the sale to upset and resell. The new retargeting and (soon to be) advertising feature is amazing, not only retargeting your visitors but it finds similar customers to target. Overrall, it's really intuitive and easy to use, and I've used many marketing automation platforms over the years. This is the least expensive. No long-term contracts to sign but still has all the features of the much more expensive ones. And the LiveChat feature you can put on your Web site that was just added (at no additional cost) brings a huge feature that other companies charge more than the entire cost of the SharpSpring subscription.

Cons

No complaints at all. The learning curve wasn't very steep and the price is right. They even have evening support hours.

Reasons for Choosing SharpSpring

Hubspot is really made for smaller businesses but more expensive. Plus it's hard to separate yourself from HubSpot because so much of your content has to be published on their own site instead of yours. Pardot and Salesforce are just unwieldy and expensive, too.

SharpSpring has potential, however, it is full of bugs

SharpSpring works well for small, uncomplicated customers. If you require the CRM functionality, for a university, for example, try something else. Support team is fantastic. They are always ready to help out. Replies are fast. I spend several hours a week updating tickets and communicating with support and they are always available!

Pros

-Quick to learn -Nice features -New functionality released often - quality control is poor since its often full of bugs -FANTASTIC support team -Competitive pricing - even with the recent price increase -Documentation is good -Month to month contracts are amazing -Unlimited users -- very useful -Pricing is NOT based on leads in database

Cons

Full of Bugs. -automated lists do not always work - some work, some do not -workflow dont always work. sometimes tasks are not created -custom reports are poor. Theres nothing custom about them -unable to import/export crm tasks (calls, meeting etc) -Advanced search is slow (expect 2-3 minute searches). Under certain conditions (when using lists as filters) advanced search simply does not work returning bogus results. Advances Search problems have existed for well over a year and they have not been fixed. -Chat bot is full of bugs - chat bot forms do not work in Firefox, for example. If you want the chat bot to work in other languages different to English, think twice -public dashboards do not work. They never have -meetings functionality is unstable - it constantly disconnects giving a 404 error on landing pages using the functionality. -Social profile sync is often wrong - application often syncs with the wrong people (to be fair, this is probably due to social API restrictions) -Social publishing from SharpSpring is poor - sometimes it does not even publish -Unable to create obligatory or required fields in CRM leads module -Reporting is VERY cumbersome. Email activity is in one place, lead information is in another, opportunities are in another, activities in another. Bringing it all together, at the end of the day, is an Excel nightmare -We are still unable to use retargeting tool. Apparently because of the changes in the invoicing tool...

Reasons for Choosing SharpSpring

We have worked with SharpSping for over two years. We are power users and have found great value in the application. As the complexity and size of our customers has grown, we are finding more and more problems with the tool - not only that, as our customer needs get more complex, the bugs/problems/quirkiness hurt us more. The tool is great for small customers that (usually) do not have complex requirements. This is undoubtedly a negative review of SharpSpring. We have patiently waited for these and other issues to be resolved. This review comes from the endless hours we have spent reporting and trying to work around the issues with no clear view if or when they will be fixed.

SharpSpring is the Best of the Best

My overall experience with SharpSpring has been wonderful! While the platform still has kinks to work out (what platform doesn't?), their customer service is amazing and they move at a rate unseen by others to make the platform better every day. I highly recommend them not just for their platform, but their people are friendly as well.

Pros

I really enjoy the various features that are available within the platform! It allows us to quickly and easily identify our prospects, capture their information on the website, and then market to them in a way that is meaningful and generates new business for us.

Cons

In their mission to make their platform compete, they often focus on getting new features out quickly but then have to go back and update later. I've seen this happen for them with tools like Video Calling, which became quickly available due to COVID-19 but lacks the robustness of other dedicated video platforms that I would imagine most companies already use.

Reasons for Choosing SharpSpring

Because SharpSpring allowed us to own our client relationships rather than letting HubSpot own the relationship. This has allowed us tremendous opportunity to scale our business, because we can offer a variety of services AND the platform to the client, when HubSpot doesn't allow that.

Best ROI for Small Medium Sized Business

We are one of the earliest SharpSpring agencies and users. We selected SharpSpring for its price/performance for SMB companies. We have worked extensively with HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot and others - but for small businesses, it is hard to beat the full-stack solution and feature set in SharpSpring.

Pros

Complete integrated tech stack for marketing and sales that includes the core functionality a business needs to execute full-funnel marketing and sales campaigns and manage the sales pipeline.

Cons

SmartMail provides 1:1 direct IMAP email, but it would be nice if there was a sales-driven email automation feature for low volume 1:1 emails to prospects.
