Great product

I’m not a computer nerd, nor have I tried many documentation tools. I had been stuck with MS Word for years until recently (when I was actually forced to resort to another tool by my employer). My friends recommended a few options. Well, I didn’t go far to test more than three options. Felt quite comfortable with Sonat and thought it had everything we needed. So I just liked it and landed there (guess I’ll be around for a long time considering my background :)). If you’re a freelancer or company creating many manuals, technical docs, and reports and you need regular approval of your contractor, project manager, technical team, and also have to provide a whole lot more explanations to the translators, that’s your magic tool. So come on in. Oh, and I like the support team too. They sure know how to give good tech advice in a very non-technical way to rather tech-phobic people like me. Sonat is free, so you probably wouldn’t mind giving it a shot (No annoying wandering ads either).

PROS

The content metrics are great. And I also like how easy publishing with Sonat is. You can make sure that everything is just as good as it seems backstage when it goes public, no matter what platform the users may have. Plus, it supports dark mode and different themes and styles for publication.

CONS

I wish they let users create more user manuals in the free version.

great software

PROS

We needed a good documentation tool for our teamwork. Sonat made collaboration easy and effective, and the best part was that migration was quite neat and simple. Back to the teamwork, We particularly enjoyed the approval process, which made organizational projects flow smoothly. It’s so straightforward to use, and you don’t need to be all tech-savvy to get the most out of it. Anyway, the support team is literally supportive. They reached out to us with answers and solutions when we needed help at the beginning. It’s all going smoothly now.

CONS

Previously they didn't send any notification when my colleagues had a comment on my contents but they fixed this. Since last week I get notification both for content change and comments.
