"Smart" QAPI for Hospice

Since we purchased SHP, about 40% of our QAPI program became automated. It has been a significant time saver that continues to enable the QAPI team to focus on future goals and data analysis.

PROS

The most helpful features available in SHP are the real-time CAHPS, HCI, and Adverse Event reports. The local and national percentile rankings available with these reports allow agencies to see how they compare with their peers on a state and national level in real time.

CONS

SHP is a great program with helpful video tutorials and job aids. On newer reports, however, we have struggled to get help interpreting the data. SHP would benefit customers by having specialized team members who understand specific EMR software programs, and how they integrate with SHP.
