Easy to Set Up and Use

Your representatives are amazing and helpful. The software is easy to use and it has been very beneficial to our team.

PROS

As an administrator, I find it easy to set up, track, and change what is needed to ensure our employees get the best mobile training material. Our company is all over the nation so it is important to make sure our employees are training constantly, and this allows us to track, change, and add what is needed.

CONS

There are sometimes little glitches with the software, but they are usually fixed soon after or if you contact your representative they are able to fix it then and there.

Great price, easy to use

Great learning tool at the intersection of LXP, LMS and social media from the end user experience. One of the least painful learning tech solutions to build/setup/deploy from start to finish, and much of the front end design is only limited by the creativity and design skills of the product owner. Easy to scale and to setup tiered admin access for different roles/functions using the admin side of the tool.

PROS

Rapid deployment capability with broad application for different types of content, curation, and configuration. Perfect for bite sized learning along with more structured, formal authored courses. Mobile first design is a major benefit compared to traditional learning tech. Easy build and scale from scratch. Has the ability to be one of the most visually compelling learning solutions on the market, based on how cover at is designed/delivered. Some new features reduce dependency on authoring tools like Articulate, which makes rapid content development much easier than with traditional LMSs. Love love love the digital badges compared to other LMS options out there: easy to create, automate, and turn into gamification learners can screen shot on their phone and brag about.

CONS

Minimal analytics, like most learning tech, which is arguably an underdeveloped area in this industry, e.g. no self-service dashboard or reporting customization options. Quirkiness with course/content builder features can mean added clicks in content dev workflow. Limited options for page layout customization and curriculum (bundles of courses), since one curriculum cannot be layered within another based on current builder taxonomy. Would like to have user forums and the ability for end users to upload content to submit work/assignments as possible future state feature expansions.

Reason for choosing Learner Mobile

Second time I've chosen to license and build a learning ecosystem from scratch using this learning tech and there is no better "bang for the buck." Much of what the tool can do is dependent upon the imagination of the implementation / project architect and designers, which has been a key differentiator. Lends itself to a stunning visual experience, which can make otherwise boring information a form of go-to edutainment, even with knowledge base assets. Native mobile first design and agility were key factors in selecting this tech, especially for lean startups that need a range of capabilities while internal systems are developed and iterated. Feature comparison prioritized profile segmentation for internal AND external end users, native mobile app, ability to create a simple but high-end look/feel, rapid build/deployment capability, and scalability. Cost comparison per user per month for a startup also shows that LM has a better price point than most LMSs on the market, with the ability to simplify microlearning and rapid content dev to support distributed teams while also offering formal/structured education options.
