Rockstar Learning is more powerful than it looks
Excellent, I manage multiple communities on the platform and I've been able to meet most client requirements with the software. They offer a free version that allows you to build a fully working proof of concept before paying anything. Customer success is always responsive.
PROSLots of flexibility to execute different learning models, great video functionality, cool tools to source content from users and socialize it. And they offer a fully free version that helps us build prototypes for customers.
CONSWould like ad hoc reporting and some more advanced enrollment capabilities, but know they are coming soon.

Great experience, easy to use platform and gorgeous!
Self- managed online education that requires almost none of my time. Students have everything they need at their fingertips .
PROSI love that the system provides so much flexibility and is so easy to use. My students have had exactly zero questions in navigating my course and using all the materials. Plus, I'm able to get detailed reporting on their progress and can step in when I see they've stumbled or slowed down.
CONSThere's very little I don't like. It does take a little bit of time to setup your course, but I haven't found an online training system that doesn't have some setup time associated with it.

Customized, uncomplicated, and excellent communication
The ability to scale our offering and reach a wider audience has been fantastic!
PROSThe reporting information is very useful to track our users progress, and where they may be encountering difficulties. I also like the ability to customize which users get which content, and for how long. Lastly, the ability to make changes and upload content myself is a huge advantage!
CONSI don't like that many user invitations go to junk mail - I know this is often unavoidable due to different network security settings, but it has been a bit of an annoyance to go back and forth with users about getting logged in. I also wish there were a function to monitor progress through the course, somewhere at the bottom of course content - like a scale to track user progress. If there is such a feature, I haven't come across it!

Easy to load up course work
The team we work with.
PROSEase of use, it's intuitive. If I have trouble uploading imagery or .mp4's the customer service is great - they'll help with the platform. It's easy to set up a user to see the coursework. The overall esthetic is easy to change and looks professional
CONSThe hardest thing in dealing with the software is not the software itself, but in designing the courses/coursework to be uploaded. Once the coursework is designed and put into a format that can be used by the site, it's fairly easy.

Easy to get started! Excellent Customer Support!
My overall experience has been fantastic! My Customer Success Manager, Dom, has been a rockstar and has helped me successfully create very simple to very complex modules and courses. By working with him, I was able to learn the platform pretty quickly. When I have questions, they are very fast to respond and I get an answer either same day or next day. The platform is fairly simple to use and to create interactive lessons that are engaging and fun for the learners. I have gotten great reviews for what I created and offered so far and our learners say this is a simple platform to use as well.
PROSPROS: * My Customer Success Manager and the support I receive! This was the greatest factor in deciding which platform to buy. I was told they want to partner with us to help us be successful - and so far, that is what they have done! * Fairly simple to use. I was able to create courses and launch them the first day. After only 1 month, I already have created an entire onboarding course. * The gamification has gotten raves at our company! 'Much more fun than just clicking through slides.' * Having the asset library and simple template to use make creating a course quick and easy.
CONSCON: So far, the only issue I have had is that the first template in Lectora I used was fairly complicated so it was a bit difficult to add my own content. BUT, the caveat for me was that I had an awesome Customer Success Manager who spent time with me to explain and help me learn a lot more about Lectora than if I had just watched videos. Once it was finished, I had a most amazing course with a test plus a certificate of completion.

1. elbLearning is the only company that said, 'We want to be your partner, not just a vendor. We want to make sure that you are successful when using our product.' 2. They offered modules that were multi-purpose - great for both sales enablement and general learning. Their rehearsal platform makes it easy for our sales team to practice and receive feedback on sales conversations. Our new managers use it to practice their conversations with their team members. 3. Having a platform that also provides a way to create robust and engaging eLearning (with Lectora) plus the ability to add games and learning paths was also a factor. This is an all-in-one solution with excellent customer support and service!
