Custom seemed out of reach, TQA Cloud made it easy.

We went from a host of internal processes and storage methods to, essentially, one. For the purposes of our QMS and version control, this has been a complete remake of our internal processes. That's daunting. We started with TQA and it took exactly 1 year to go from where we were to where we ended up (a successful ISO9001:2015 audit) completely on the back of TQA. Now- we were 100% committed, but we were also 200% task saturated as well. So adding this transition on top was a threat. I want this to be clear- software without people is garbage. The team behind TQA is what really makes this thing work. The customer representative, in particular, has a manner about him that helps ease this transition. If I look back at how he started us, his change management technique, it's impressive, to say the least. If he had dropped it all on us day 1 we would have been sunk. He worked through the process in a very tactful way, he created buy in, navigated hold-outs, and continues to be a resource. We're definitely not 100%. We must always be working towards our QMS' evolution, but we have a tool set and a partner in TQA that will get us there.

PROS

Honestly, the fact that it's built on top of O365 and Sharepoint. I wouldn't ever want to build this kind of infrastructure on top of a backend that was being serviced by a company other than one of the big guys. It's far too important that I am able to evolve it over time knowing that we have the underpinnings of not only a Microsoft platform, but one that is getting a huge amount of support and is clearly the focus of their future.

CONS

There are some limitations to the types of files that can be stored when not compressed. That's a minor thing, it just means we have to keep executables zipped. The up-side is that with customization, there has been little need to sweat these things. TQA has always been a 1 email stop between me and what I need done.

Great system and even better customer service

I've done work with rep (TQA) for a few years and his systems and experience have helped our company become ISO certified for the first time 3 years ago and he also got us certified for ISO9001:2015 and OHSAS 18001 this past year. His software along with his help has been extremely beneficial to our growth. We will definitely be doing work with TQA in the future

PROS

The software made it easier for everyone in our company to navigate through items and for everyone to remain on the same page. It was also the difference maker when it came time to upgrade to ISO9001:2015 and OSHAS 18001

CONS

Once i got used to the software there were not any cons I can think of at this moment

Optimum Value

After reviewing multiple Quality Management Systems ,the selection of the Texas Quality System was an easy choice. The system was easy to use , very adaptable to the business model ( both consumer products and automotive OEM ) and ease of implementation. Rep is extremely knowledgeable in both the quality requirements and the system flow. The customer service and training were first class. Optimum Value !
