I am solving challenges related to timeliness of claim submission and financial communication between my EHR and insurance clearinghouse.

The most helpful aspect of Apex EDI is the integration with the EHR platform Luminello. I am able to submit claims directly from my EHR to Apex. In turn, when electronic EOBs are sent to Apex, this is also reflected in my EHR. This saves me significant time both as the provider entering the claims and the administrator monitoring EOBs and claim status.

I like the Apex software, yet their affiliation with a company called Change Healthcare is problematic. I need to work directly with Change Healthcare to for specific settings and capabilities within Apex. This company has poor customer service, unskilled employees, and issues that have taken weeks to resolve without adequate communication. Unfortunately, there is little support Apex is able to offer for tasks that must be completed by Change Healthcare.
