By far the best EMR company I’ve ever used

Wouldn’t ever dream of switching to any other system.

PROS

IMed is dedicated to their system being somewhat adaptable to any practice/organization. Customer serves is TOP NOTCH.

CONS

SNOMED codes versus ICD-10, and the chart doesn’t store ICD-10 codes in history

Hey Christine - Thanks for the kind words. The industry's use of SNOMED codes versus ICD10 codes is a bit confusing. ICD codes are stored in the system for billing and disease classification purposes, but industry standards require that the Problem List (which is part of the history) be stored in SNOMED. iMed EMR Review

We have been one of the first iMed users. They have gone above and beyond to help streamline our daily activities. They have been a joy to work with and I recommend them to everyone I meet.

PROS

iMed is very user friendly. You can customize your dashboard to your roll in the office. It is extremely easy to use and helps for work flow run smoothly.

CONS

I really can't say anything bad about the software. If something hasn't worked to our liking, then the iMed team works really hard to fix it.

It is easy to use and easy to train new employees on, I like the format

CONS

in the encounter, where you put in the exam, its is not detailed enough with the anatomy to decide where to put things, for example, in female there is bladder and CVA, in male, there is no bladder. Things like that can be improved for the provider

My claims are being pain in a timely manner and my staff adapted well to IMED because they took a lot of time training my staff and myself. And I am able to meet with them to review my progress on a quarterly basis.

I like the combination of the EMR and the Billing. It’s very easy to use.

Great to work with

I was skeptical at first, but their customer support proved to me that they were a good vendor partner. The system does more than I expected. And they are willing to modify the system.
