Awesome tool and easy to use!
I absolutely love how simple it is to use the Voyent software. We are able to quickly and efficiently deliver important messages. This service is also so reliable and very rarely have I had any issues. On the rare occasion when we’ve needed help, the Voyent team has been there right away! The staff are friendly and super helpful. I often speak of how exceptional their customer service level is compared to other businesses I deal with. I highly recommend this service to anyone!
CONSNothing really! It’s great :) I haven’t had an negative experiences. Any time I’ve had an issue, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has resolved it within minutes.
Reasons for switching to Voyent Alert!
Everbridge was more expensive, complicated to use, and it required a difficult and intensive training course. Within a few hours I felt like I was an expert at using Voyent because the program design is so much simpler and more efficient!

Its all about the service
[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been extremely supportive and easy to work with. He provides information, options and encouragement every time we use Voyent Alert. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is always open to expanding the product to suit our needs making the product better for everyone using it.
PROSEase of use and the multiple functions of Voyent Alert make this the most efficient and cost effective program available to local government. Voyent Alert is an internal and external communications tool providing one place to go for communication with staff and residents for both general and emergency information. The best part is the service. calls and emails for advice, direction, help are responded to immediately and options for training are expanded and encouraged regularly.
CONSAfter looking for cons, we were unable to find anything we did not like about Voyent Alert.
Reason for choosing Voyent Alert!
initially cost drove us to look for a better product. We stopped at Voyent Alert. The cost was better and no other product provides the same level of service and support.

Great way to get information out!
Recently we used Voyent Alert to send out a survey for public participation. We had over 200 people fill in the survey within a week. With covid restrictions, public participation and communication opportunities have been challenging for our municipality. We feel that the great success of our public participation is due to the efficiency of Voyent Alert in getting communications out.
PROSCustomer service with the company is excellent. They are fast at helping you with anything. The software works great and user friendly. We loved that we could get messages out to people who didn't have access to the internet or a cell phone. Reliable. Updates have made it even better. Our company looks forward to using it more this upcoming year.
CONSIt was initially hard to get users to sign up. They didn't understand what it is for. We are still sending regular messaging provided to help get people to sign up for this. In 2 years we have over 300 users.

Voyent Alert - excellent choice
We needed a system that would provide mass alerting, targeted alerting, and internal (staff) alerting. Voyent does all of this, along with some "bonus" capability that have proven to be very useful.
PROSSupport is beyond compare. The alerting setup is easy, and very versatile. It have many capabilities beyond other typical "alerting systems". It lends itself to day-to-day advisories such as water breaks and road work, as well as emergencies. New features continue to be added. It is by far the most functional system available, and far better than some others we looked at, which also cost a lot more than Voyent. Most important: we have complete control of the messages delivered.
CONSReally, no complaints. The few bugs that we encountered were corrected impressively fast. The company is very responsive to suggestions for improvement.

Voyent Alert Review
The staff at Voyent Alert have been very helpful and supportive. I am very pleased overall.
PROSThe Voyent Alert software allows us to send detailed notifications that include a map of the affected area. The system also allows us to send notifications according to residents set locations, instead of sending a message to the entire population or Area.
CONSThe Software is very powerful, it allows the administrator to build custom Alerts. The downfall is that it can get confusing as there are many different ways for creating a notification.
Reason for choosing Voyent Alert!
It really came down to the fact that Voyent is a more powerful system then the competitors. With the mobile app and the integrated maps, the notifications are more precise and more valuable.

We made the switch because we were really interested in being able to send notifications to residents who live within the boundary of the emergency.

"Talk Mail" Program
The support that we have received is probably the BEST in the world. My gosh, they are so great - any time of the day or week-end (when we needed them on an unexpected water line break) The cost is really great as well.
PROSWe switched from a company that only allowed us to phone all of our customers. Now we can call, text and email - either 1 of these or ALL of these! We were so happy to allow these options to our customers !
CONSThere really is nothing that we liked LEAST about this software.

Because they were Canadian, the support was phenomenal, the price was excellent and because we weren't being charged by call, we could budget must easier with Voyent. Overall, just excellent !
Reasons for switching to Voyent Alert!
We wanted to have the ability to text or email our customers and the US cost program was based on usage. Voyent is an annual fee - use it as many times as you like.

Best way to connect with our residents
Love the app and that it can send messages through email and also to residents landlines. It keeps out residents up to date with activities and alerts in our community.
PROSI like the ease of use. Also that it can reach our elderly residents and other user that don't use social media.
CONSI find that the product is easy to use and don't have any complaints about it.

The price was economical but also it could reach the residents that weren't on social media. Our residents love it.

Great Product for Smaller Local Goverments
The staff at Voyent Alert! are very professional and quick to respond with help. Setup and implementation was easy. Voyent also is continually improving the system and have come out with many software improvements since we joined.

CONSWithout regular use it the software can be challenging to use.
