Convenient Scheduling Tool

PROS

Rooster has made scheduling so much faster and more convenient than doing so manually, as we had been doing before. I appreciate how everything is integrated together into the system, pulling information from the organization's calendars, from Workday, and Zoom. If my holds are ready, I can just call candidates and get confirmation emails out to the panel and my candidates in a matter of minutes. I've enjoyed using the system and find it quite intuitive/navigable.

CONS

The most difficult part of the process was a few logistics in getting Rooster set up for use, e.g. getting templates/Zoom accounts ready and usable for multiple users. We did have a bit of trouble at first with the Alternate Host function of Zoom through Rooster, but with the team's support we were able to find a solution and move forward to keep scheduling successfully. Once you learn the system, using it is straightforward.

Efficient and Streamlined Scheduling!

PROS

Rooster has saved our recruiting team tremendous amounts of time in calendaring and scheduling, and they offer the analytics to prove it! The team loves Rooster and our renewal decision was a no-brainer.

CONS

My primary function is as an Admin, and I feel that I have the tools I need. At one point I couldn't manage my users very well, or delete a user on my own, but Rooster quickly released that feature!

Reason for choosing Rooster

We only looked at the standard functionality offered by the Workday Recruiting module and it did not meet our needs, or provide any process from improvements from our non-ATS days using Outlook to schedule everything.

Rooster helps with interview scheduling efficiency!

PROS

Rooster helps us schedule interviews with accuracy and efficiency. Appreciate the functionality of being able to schedule several interviews and use of different templates depending on the situation.

CONS

Wish you could schedule interviews on one day and not have to use breaks, all on one invite. This would be easier for candidates - - 1 interview schedule / invite to accept. (ex - Scheduling 8am, 11am, 4pm all on one invite)

We love Rooster

PROS

This product has made our interview scheduling process so much more efficient. Overall, it has made a huge difference, we now have analytics for schedulers & interviewers, we can schedule a lot faster, back up coverage is seamless, there's a lot of different ways you can do things so each user can have a slightly different process and still get the same result. Our team really likes the request availability feature, as that has saved us a lot of time. Rooster has worked well for both our executive level scheduling and our high volume scheduling.

CONS

There's a lot of ways you can customize your this tool, during integration being one of the first clients we had the opportunity to change and customize a lot of things and the team we worked with was AMAZING. Now that we are live and there's more clients using this tool, items go onto a roadmap and you must make requests (which is completely understandable) so any future requests are delayed but if you have issues the support team is pretty quick to find a solution, solve a problem, or find a work around.

Free up your time and get your scheduling done faster

Overall, this is an amazing product that I would recommend to anyone who is wanting to spend less time scheduling interviews and more time doing the more important tasks. Great job team!

PROS

The process of scheduling is easy to implement, easy to use, and once you have everything set up on the back-end, you are just clicking a button to move the process along and automate the majority of the scheduling process.

CONS

Since it is a fairly new product, there are still some bugs but the team is great about getting those fixed quickly and keeping us moving. No real complaints here.

Rooster Feedback from NEB

Overall I like it.

PROS

Transparency for other co-workers in HR, all interviews in one place on one screen per candidate, no hunting through emails

CONS

I was happy when we got spell check; would love the grammar piece too. Outlook is still an important tool because calendars on Rooster on show busy or free, but no detail. For example, when employees update their calendar to denote they are working offsite, Rooster sees that as busy. As a result I use outlook to put together the schedule and then switch to Rooster to implement.
