The Most Helpful Tool in Years!

Communication, communication, communication! Document, document, document!

PROS

SchoolStatus creates a unique cell number for the teacher/administrator to call, text, or email parents. As a parent, the software is invaluable as teachers/coaches can send out blanket group messages. As an educator, I have spent hours reviewing calls, and creating timelines of interactions with parents, to help support my teachers. It is an amazing tool that allows you to see every time anyone engages with the parent. In addition, it keeps a time-stamped and dated log of all interactions. AWESOME!

CONS

As we transitioned to using the software, the biggest challenge was reminding people to use it. For so many years, educators have been using their cell phone numbers, which has been problematic. In year 3 of full implementation, it's second nature to use it to engage with parents.
