Housing Certification
The Certemy Design team was through and great to work with. They were deeply invested from the start of our project and listened to all of my concerns and needs, meeting nearly all of them. The design team is also very responsive to follow up emails and tweaks to our set up.
PROSCertemy provides an automated way to keep track of the certification process. The client finds the software intuitive and easy to use. Certemy presents the necessary tasks clearly and concisely and provides a space for document storage.
CONSCurrently, Certemy lacks power in report generation. Although the tech team is more than willing to create any report I would like based on the data collected, to date I don't have to option to pull my own reports.

Great time and paper saver
I am still shocked how easy the transition was from paper based application to the online process. Integration was easy. Users are enjoying it. The verification process to approve a license is extremely simple and takes such a short time.
CONSThere are a few things I wish it did and I hope they are working on. 1. once someone renews their annual license, the application for the following year immediately populates into the user's account sometimes causing confusion for the licensee. 2. We issue both individual and business licenses. Their system does not yet accomodate the ability to search to verify a license on the registry for a business license. The only option is to search for the individual user's first or last name on the account, not the name of the business that is licensed.

Great up and coming software
Overall, we are very happy with the software. The software is still growing, and had changed dramatically since we signed on. I believe we were the 2nd user to enroll with Certemy, so we've seen it all, and I'm very happy with the direction the company and the software are going. The staff are very receptive to feedback, and are always looking to make changes and improvements. There is also really great communication inside of the organization. For example, I'll reach out to one of my Certemy contacts with a problem I'm having, and later will be talking to another Certemy staff about something unrelated, and they will bring up the issue I discussed with the previous staff. It seems like a really tight, cohesive group of employees, and the staff feel more like friends than they do colleagues.
PROSThe software does a great job of automation - automatic email reminders, automatic certificate generating, allowing steps to be automatically or manually approved. Certemy lets us shift away from some of the small, mundane daily tasks we had, and focus our efforts on growing and improving the business for the betterment of our customers.
CONSThere are parts of the software that still need improvement, such as data collection, the functionality of certain steps we can implement into certifications, easy of use for customers. The ease of use issue is less of a software issue, and more of an aesthetic issue. We find our customers frequently upload a document when they should have filled out a form, or work on the wrong certification inside their account. A lot of these issues have been cleaned up over the year, but there is still some work to do.
