Regpack Software


 

Regpack is a cloud-based event management software solution designed for small and midsize companies. This product offers event registration, attendee management, client management, event sponsorship and travel and ticketing functionalities in a single solution.

Regpack allows users to build customized forms for capturing attendee details. Forms can also be embedded on the event website. The platform also offers payment processing functionality, so customers can make payments using credit cards or electronic transfer methods.

Regpack features an automatic communications module, which allows users to send trigger-based emails such as payment notifications and event updates. Customized reporting and dashboards allow users to track and analyze event and attendee statistics. This data gives a complete overview of the user's event management process.

I liked the search feature the best, but being able to filtering and create reports was also extremely helpful.

Cons

I didn't like the fact that after using it for months in Internet Explorer, on the day I needed it the most, it would no longer allow me to log in via IE.

Efficiency, excellent accounting tracking, ease, better communication, and more.

Pros

The filter system is extremely helpful. I like having the registration and payment system connected. I like being able to see the email communication "history" on each account.

Cons

I would like to send an individual direct email to a person without having to create it first. It would be nice to have that ability.

Regpack has simplified my life as Production Manager for two fairly large projects that include registration materials and fees. Everything happens electronically. No more shuffling through DVDs, CDs, application forms and checks. Regpack allows you to categorize your users so that you can quickly pull selected groups from the whole. This is extremely helpful. This software is pretty straightforward and easy to navigate and manipulate. The staff is extremely responsive and helpful and quick to handle any issue that might arise.

Cons

The one area in which I have had to change how I work to accommodate the functioning of the software is in uploading footage. I have paid the extra fee a few times to lift the cap so that applicants could upload and submit bigger files, but after having to troubleshoot with regpack staff and go back and forth with applicants I decided to only accept links and not allow them to upload footage. While this is unfortunate, accepting links has worked for me and has not affected my overall opinion of the product.

Ease of registration management and tracking income/headcounts. Ease of managing forms: liability, medical, etc. Saves time.

Pros

The triggers, ability to apply different discounts, customize products and e-mails, track progress/growth; easily see which classes are filling and which need more marketing; ability to 'trigger' e-mail to admin for special needs student alerts and so much more.

Cons

Every once in a while there are glitches or small errors in the system. When I try to clearly send an e-mail to support about the issue, I sometimes get replies that make me think Reg support team did not ready my note very carefully. Then there is a fair amount of back & forth before things get worked out. This can be frustrating when time is critical.

Pros

Ease for end user to register. When I help develop the registration site for 2018 I will ask to have a little more detail to be added.

Cons

I wish that I would have paid closer attention to the final messages that were going out to the registrants. I will be more detailed next year.

Online registration software. Before this, registration was done via email.

Pros

Ease of use and functionality. We like how the projects can now be copied to future projects. Searching works well.

Cons

Very hard to talk to customer service. WAY TOO much time has been wasted emailing going back and forth with service. Sometimes a what could have been a 2-minute conversation takes 2 or 3 days to get resolved and that's not counting the weekend!

The amount of features exceeds our ability to dream up what to do with it. We have yet to come across the functionality that is not supported

Customisable! We are a VERY small camp and have a lot of special needs campers - so this system is great for getting all that detail from campers.

Cons

Our campers/parents have a hard time navigating it and get confused easily about how to register a camper a second time - they end up creating a new camper because they are not directed to their dashboard when they log back on. I spend a LOT of time trouble shooting via email/phone just to get them back on track. A short tutorial video for the users would be REALLY helpful!

I like the adaptability and the flexibility that they give the administrator to make changes. Once you learn how it works, it's easy to set it up for your own needs.

Cons

The customer service is very slow and unresponsive. Our window of use each year is pretty narrow, but when we need it, we really need it. It's difficult to get support to understand that so in the middle of the crunch, if there's a problem, you have to scream pretty loud to get help. Customer service for this type of product is vital. Regpack needs to focus on this area, but no matter how many times I ask about it, they don't seem to care.

Regpack easily organizes every aspect of my summer camp registration. I'm able to track payments, fundraising credits, notes about a camper, email the users and so much more. I also love that my users have the option to sign up for automatic payments and that I can sort the users in so many different ways.

Cons

The only part that I find challenging about Regpack is if I have a need to speak with customer support. All of Regpack's support is email based and sometimes, explaining your problem via email is very challenging and quite time-consuming to communicate with words.

I like most how Regpack is flexible and helps us make the system work for us. Regpack has helped increase the quality and consistency of our communication with families and the doctors with whom we work closely. Occasionally it takes a few days to get a response from the support team for general assistance, but my account rep is always there to lend a hand.

Pros

That you are able to customize the product for each camp. Another feature that I like is you are able to open and close your account when the camp starts and ends. I also like that you are able to make reports that are custom to what you need.

Cons

A lot of users sometimes have a hard time logging back in to register for additional camps after signing up the first time. Sometimes it is difficult to understand the total order and what is paid in the account. Having no option in reports that can show who paid by credit card or checks.

The products for our two annual event are no charge to the people attending. Therefore product count was very important and the number of people coming was also very important. Prior to Regpacks the counting was done manually. One year we ran out of product. The second largest benefit with RegPacks was the reduction of paper use. RegPacks eliminated a paper registration form and eliminated the duplication of the completed paper form.

Pros

Ease of use. The flexible month to month usage without monthly or annual contracts. Is the condition of questions leading to other questions based on registrant response.

Cons

Back end user administration does not have all the features today's technology offer. Not being able to have two forms for two different registration events.
