BatchMaster ERP, a highly-focused and integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) software solution for process manufacturing companies, performs a wide range of business management functions. Business intelligence, recipe/formula management, supply chain management, sales, and other processes are managed by the system. BatchMaster is ideal for mid-sized organizations.
BatchMaster is unique; in limiting itself purely to batch manufacturing companies, it provides a level of specificity and expertise not found in other ERP technology. This is a significant benefit for users who prefer a high level of precision.
Beyond overall batch manufacturing, BatchMaster further specializes its functionality, laser-focusing its capabilities on five vertical markets. These include Food & Beverage, Cosmetics, Coatings & Chemicals, Life Sciences, and Nutraceutical.
In addition to core management processes dealing with inventory/formula management and other operations, this system can leverage built-in customization options to tailor compliance and product safety to each of these specific fields - accelerating the system’s return on investment to the user.
Additional capabilities of the system include planning worksheets, quality control, workbenches, role-tailored dashboards, workflow functionality, and access on a mobile device. BatchMaster ERP leverages Microsoft’s SQL Server, and can run on multiple different Windows operating systems - including Windows 2000, 7, Vista, and XP.
The system is deployed on-premise. Focusing only on Microsoft technology ensures technological consistency. This consistency, along with the system’s tight focus on manufacturing and its customization capabilities, distinguishes BatchMaster from many of the alternatives in the space.

I think Batchmaster is a great, easy to use ERP system. Their customer support team seems to be very knowledgeable and they are very quick to respond when you are having issues or need a quick tip. The best part is the user friendly interface, it doesn't take much practice before you start feeling like you really know your way around the system.
It's hard to say. I think it would be nice if there was the ability to interface with more than one financial database. We have company's in the US and Canada so we have to use different versions of financial software but we cannot interface both with the same instance of Batchmaster. Whether this is something Batchmaster can change or not I'm not sure, maybe we need to look at different finance software options.
I would recommend that you give Batchmaster a try, it is a pretty easy to learn, user friendly piece of software and as I said before has all of the functionality we need and more. There are seemingly endless modules and utilities that you can utilize to make your companies process run smoother and without human error.

Very easy to use and the integration between our financial software and the manufacturing software work great.
Sometimes, the programming can be a little bit clunky, but it is not too bad at its worst. There are a lot worse software systems out there.
Just take it slow and make sure it is the right match for your needs. Ask questions, and the Batchmaster development team is great with answering questions.
