S2K Software for Manufacturing

As a member of IBM’s Technology Offering Program (TOP), S2K by VAI is an IBM iSeries-based system designed to manage mid-sized and enterprise businesses. We found S2K to be a great fit for a broad range of industries, from apparel and fashion to auto-parts and manufacturing.

This system is the definition of an all-encompassing solution. Aside from offering a number of packages on a standalone basis (mainly point of sale, accounting, and warehouse management), S2Kcontains enterprise-level features such as direct order shipment, transportation management, online orders.  Users can search for items and check stock levels across all departments, providing ultimate visibility.

The software allows for customizable user profiles and the ability for different users to see various features and information. Sales can be analyzed by specific parameters such as store, sales staff, customer demographics, and SKU. And as a checkout system, this hardware and software bundle features bar code scanning, customer pin-pads, and cash drawer reconciliation to ensure sales are quick and accurate.

We think that the ability to integrate S2K with other applications makes it a great solution for retailers, distributors, and manufacturers looking to warehouse, ship, or sell both in-store and online.
