My overall experience with QBA has been rewarding and satisfying. So far the software has lived up to my expectations.

It is very popular, easy to use and constantly updating to meet client needs and expectations.

I basically love everything about this software.

Overall I have had a good experience with Quickbooks Online Accountant. It has definitely improved over the years in functionality and continues to get better.

I like that it is widely used & accepted by many small businesses and that he price is good for myself and my clients. I also like the integrations with the bank feeds and other apps which makes recording transactions a breeze. The step-by-step instructions which can be found with their online support is very useful and shareable with clients when they need to know how to do something in Quickbooks. I like the Accountant Tools features because it helps me to make corrections and changes much easier & quicker. I also really like the newer Books Review page. It helps me to clean up client books and message them with questions directly out of Quickbooks. I like that it is cloud based so there is no longer fear of a clients books getting lost on a damaged computer or network. Also, it allows me to be able to provide accounting services to my clients from home no matter where they are located.

There are a few quirks with some of the newer features of the software, but I am sure those will get worked out. I also have not had a great experience with the phone support team. Sometimes they are able to help, but I have been steered wrong by support in the past and ended up figuring out the fix on my own after spending a long time on a call with support.

Constant glitches, Constant errors, constant investigating into why QBO is failign me, constant sync issues with my bank, constant reentry and correcting of data, constant hesitation to trust anything this software is telling me, constant confusion with little understanding of the problems by support staff.

Support is quick and responsive all the time which is it's only saving grace.

Relying on a software that is online only means that if there are glitches or errors because of it's network or code executed in a webpage, this critically damages your books. Frequently quickbooks online will say that everything is correct and up to date when in reality there are numerous sync issues and entries duplicated by system glitches, also the fact that it ignores currency conversion means that what you had expected as correct is wrong and ensures you have hundreds of days of investigating to do to track down issues.

Going from Square to Quickbooks was amazing. I thougt square was amazing and quickbooks brings amazing to a whole nother level!

I like all the features. If you have a small business and have a hard time staying organized this is for you..

Flexibility when working with clients remotely.

Cost, cumbersome reports and inadequate customer service.

1) Consistent solid performance - almost zero downtime 2) Continuous addition of new features 3) Customer Service - while not great, lot better than Wave and others in the industry

1) Not easy to use. We are accountants and Certified pro advisors but for end users it is difficult. 2) Expensive for small sized businesses. 3) Full Payroll is not available.

It's been a great platform to allow my business to offer virtual bookkeeping services to clients across the US.

I love that it's online and I can handle all of my clients bookkeeping needs remotely!

There are a lot of things I don't like about QBO payroll - it's too difficult to make changes.

I like that quickbooks integrated with my other softwares. I have been using quickbooks for 7 years.

Quickbooks is easy to use for small businesses and people who do not want to pay for an accountant.

Some features like invoices can be a little tricky to figure out and may take time to get used to doing.

A very user friendly program that is easy to add clients to your database. The ProAdvisor training and certifications are self-paced, making it flexible to add to your busy schedule. Subscription Discounts are made available for your clients as well as a revenue sharing program has recently been announced.

I wish their support was faster in answering questions.

Easy to use for simple company files. For more intricate companies with a large amount of transactions, we still prefer to use QB Desktop

We've started the software in January 2020 but decided to shift to other software because it wasn't fulfilling our organizational need. so the experience with quickbooks online version wasn't good for us.

It's ease of use and the customer support is great. Also basic level reporting is good.

In the start, it looks great to use but with the passage of the time we came to know that there are many missing. Specially Advance level of reporting system. You can't customize the reporting according to your organizational need. Plus, Inward Gate passes and Outward Gate passes were missing. You can not integrate with sms gateway. Customers & Vendors ledger formats were another big issue because you can't customize them according to your organizational need. They need to Improve inventory section too because unable to track record of daily issuance there.

Ease of use, the ability to see my client's data.

When paying several bills with one payment transaction, QB only shows that the bill was paid but not linked back to the whole payment.

I love QBO Accountant! I tried a few other bookkeeping software, but none compare to this workhorse.

I love that this software lets you do full-service bookkeeping, from categorizing transactions, to adding additional layers such as classes and locations, reconciling statements, connecting other apps, and fantastic reporting!

The customer service is hit and miss, and usually takes a few hours to resolve any problems. Thankfully I don't need to contact them very often.

I appreciate the fact that I can offer a subscription to my clients for a discount.

QBO is great because you can access it anywhere and when it is set up correctly it is very simple to use.

The customer service is awful. Most of the time they don’t know how to answer your questions and if they are going to get back to you, they never do.

I enjoyed the first year, but in the second year Quickbooks could not handle the workload and many errors started. I lost a year's worth of bookkeeping and accounting history.

It's fast for a cloud accounting option. It easy to get started but it can become overwhelming very quickly.

No undo features make it very easy to mess up a year's worth of book-keeping with one mistake. I learned the hard way. The online and call-for-help customer support is completely useless.

Quickbooks is simplistic and feasible for start up ventures.

Cost profile is very low. Operations are simplistic. We actually started using a 3rd party platform (Glean AI) for reading and importing third party invoices into Quickbooks. The combination of Glean AI and Quickbooks has been a wonderful addition and saved significant time and effort with recording payments and invoices.

Lack of internal controls and inability to create a GAAP based cash flow. Largely manual system for PO creation, ordering, receiving, etc. Must track certain items outside of Quickbooks.

I am very happy with Quickbooks Online Accountant. I used to offer my clients the option to do their books in other software, but I have decided that due to my preferences, I will only work in QBO now.

My favorite thing about Quickbooks Online Accountant software is the centralized dashboard that lets me see all my clients. I also love the ability that it gives me to message each of my clients from within the software.

I just wish that there weren't always so many issues with bank feeds breaking. I spend too much time every week trying to fix these issues and often have to manually upload bank feed data.

Overall has been a great experience

Once you have the base of how to use QBO it's is very easy using it daily. It is very common so most people know what you are talking about when you say that you use QBO.

Although QBO can integrate with other apps, doesn't always mean that they should be connected. Some times the System Admin. Will add invoices or payments by duplicating them every time an update is made. You have to wait until you get through the clean up headache to know to disconnect.

I recommend this product to all of my small/large business clients and it helps them to stay organized and file timely.

The seamless integration of this program in my daily small business is fantastic. As an enrolled agent, my clients are able to invite me to their books and I can help them stay organized throughout the year.

Absolutely nothing. This is my favorite system to use in my tax practice and share with my clients who are just starting up.

I needed an accounting platform for my practice. It is easy to add clients, make invoices and receive payments.

I like that all of my clients can be accessed with one log in.

I also use payroll and I don't like that payroll adjustments can't be made easily. The software tries so hard to take accounting work out of accounting software that it sometimes makes it difficult for an accountant to use.

Fantastic, makes it so much easier for our accountant to review our books.

The ease of use and the integration with my accountant makes our annual financial summary so much easier!

Just a little pricey I feel. That still won’t stop us continuing to use it but the fact that we got the first 6 months at half price I feel doubling the price after that point is a little steep.

I've been using this software last two years, it's very user-friendly and easy to manage, bill pay, transfer and Access management system I like the most, it's has saved my time , I highly recommend it
