If you're an agent or manager you need this.
There are so many benefits to this software. It asks all the right questions and allows our artists to know all of the facts about their shows.
PROSI really love how the software integrates with Google Calendar and Google docs. Saves so much work.
CONSSome things are really difficult to configure and I am constantly calling on support to do things that are complicated. And sometimes Gigwell can't do it. There are some features I don't use because I can't figure out how they work.

Gigwell Review
Gigwell has been very prompt with their customer service, and in working with us to create new features that meet our needs. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is the best!
PROSThe interface is very clean and easy to navigate. The fact that it is cloud-based software is also a huge plus as it's easy for our remote employees to get set up with. Certain features such as auto ticket count reach out, contract issuing/reminders through Hellosign, the ability to pre-save terms/phrases, infinite filters/data points in searching/creating reports, integration with Google and the artist roster pages are timesavers. The management/artist view (for non-users) is also very efficient and helpful for our teams that use it.
CONSThe fact that Gigwell Track does not integrate with Gigwell Book is frustrating as it creates extra work. The inability to use multiple currencies in one booking (in the example of US artists playing international dates) requires us to use inefficient work-arounds, and is becoming a larger issue as we increase our number of international bookings. All reports are pulled via CSV, but it would be nice to be able to pull any report, at any time as a pdf with our company logo on it, instead of needing a custom template for every type of report (although the Gigwell team has been helpful with creating these templates for us!). Finally, there are a couple deal structures that Gigwell does not have a way of accurately inputting in their system.

Reach out to support@gigwell.com so we can add the Track template to your account. All reports can be exported as a CSV or PDF file and can be customized. Good for basic features, disappointing for anything else
It's good for a very basic contract experience however other than entering a contract I've outsourced all other features. It's too difficult to use the other features, etc. I wish that it could do a bit more.
PROSEntering a basic contract is simple and it's pretty easy to navigate around the software.
CONSIt's hard to use for any other features. The software also doesn't do currency conversions easily, which is a big problem for my business. Accounting features are too difficult to use. I basically just use it to enter a simple contract that I download and send manually, nothing else. For this it's great however would be great if it could do a few more things.

Excellent. Staff is terrific in responding to issues and fielding questions. System is easy to use. My issues noted above that would help me streamline for my business.
PROSGigwell has stood out from the beginning for its support. Love the staff! I get responses immediately if something is not working, and they pay attention to my requests for improvements to the product, if it's viable to implement.
CONSNoted above -- would prefer a few more "Roles" feature (Community Engagement, Executive Director). would prefer a date-delineated notepad that augments the Notes feature in Contact files.On itineraries, would like to see "Activities" separated out from "Ground Transportation". My artists often do school visits, or other community engagement, and it muddies the Itinerary to have that grouped with car rentals, etc.
Reason for choosing Gigwell
Price was good for the service. I had also decided to move from desktop based to cloud-based software, which has been great since I can access from any device. Respected colleagues were using it.
Reasons for switching to Gigwell
Artifax stopped supporting its booking software, which it phased out. Just concentrates on event and venue software

Helps us keep everything together. Really acts as a glue to hold things together and driver to push booking forward.
PROSThe integration with google and other software, invoicing and payment features.
CONSThe calendar integration and onboarding of artists was always a little tricky, oftentimes for the artists.

Gigwell Rocks
The staff at Gigwell rock. The customer support specialist is absolutely amazing. He is attentive, patient and always finds a solution to any issue. I just wish they had phone support and 10 more representatives.

CONSBecause of its flexibility and enormous power, it seemed a little overwhelming and complicated at first. But once you get an understanding and use it daily, it gets easier.

Flexible software perfect for small booking agency
Gigwell is perfect for small booking agencies to handle bookings. Their customer service is unmatched and helped us find the best way to utilize the software to meet our companies needs.
PROSThe contracting interface and deposit request and collection feature is very professional and easy to use. Using Gigwell really leveled up our operation compared to our previous system.
CONSContact management and adding users to teams could be improved upon.

Simplifies the contracting process.
We used to have someone on staff whose primary job was to handle contracts and deposits. With this software, we've been able to replace that position with agents who can manage their own contracts and bring in more revenue.
PROSThe interface is easy to navigate and customer support response is top notch. I think the only thing keeping this from being an all-in-one platform is having a CRM product.
CONSI think we run into more bugs with the software than we should. There are times were I feel like I'm talking to customer support a little too regularly. I would also like having more direct control over what artists can see on their accounts rather than needing to go through customer support to set permission level.

I enjoy the contract management and automation. Saves a lot of time. The invoicing is easy and helps me keep track of payments.
CONSWould like the CRM to be more. Would like to send single invoices not attached to deals. Would like to track merch better. Have a way to send messages to some people on the artist tab instead of all of them.

CONSIt's lack of cross-market functionality. As an Australian company there a few features which would be useful to the Australian market including specific door deal splits, production supplies (as not all promoters provide full backline)

However, if you choose to delete an artist from your roster, their historical data will be removed. Please contact us at support@gigwell.com to have us review the artist invoices. You can grant them access to Gigwell so they can download their invoices.

Decent product for booking management
Overall, its a good product for organizing contracts and invoices together, but there are definitely some software redundancies that cause a lot of extra clicking and not the most efficient use of time.
PROSI like that it keeps the information for each booking organized and on file for future reference.
CONSI don't think it is very user friendly or intuitive, and there are many times where we are reentering data which is redundant. I wish it was more customizable.

Gigwell is the backbone of my business
Absolutely incredible. I've used Gigwell for almost 7 years now and highly recommend it.
PROSThey make it so easy to use and automate so much of the booking process. From forms which autogenerate contracts to invoicing and so much more.
CONSThere are some features of the automated emails that go out that need fine tuning. It just requires some time from you to customize it so it has your look and feel.

CONSMobile app needs to have more features and be easier to use. What I love about my job is working from wherever. The mobile app doesn't allow for this ease.

Great Software for Booking Agency
Great! The support staff is amazing. I have been able to learn the software quite quickly because of them.
PROSThe ease of creating and sending a contract. A client can sign a contract within just a few minutes.
CONSAdding venue contacts seems to be a bit challenging. It might almost be nice if it pulled venues directly from Google maps.

Great Overall Booking Solution
It has automated many of our functions. Not quite perfect, but definitely great to have.
PROSLove the fact that the entire process is all online. This greatly assists with getting contracts signed, returned & invoices paid on a timely basis.
CONSIt needs to include a CRM system as well. This way all communication can be tracked from beginning of the sales process (lead emails, etc.) through event management (vendor/client communication) the end (feedback, referrals). It also doesn't allow you to send info to all the parties involved (artist, sound, lighting, staging, venue, client (planner, accounting), etc.) Each person needs different info and we should be able to send that with a stroke of a key without having to reformat every time.

I am an advocate for this software. It has truly made life easier for managing bookings.
I love the analytics and the ability to plug the dates right into your website. The booking form is also extremely helpful for the purchaser.
CONSThe invoice creation piece. It just seems not as easy to use as the one before. Creating contacts could be a little less confusing. It might just be me.

Wonderful for Music Industry Booking!
Having a cloud based system I can use for booking has completely revolutionized my job. I can't thank Gigwell enough.
PROSWorking in the music industry I have been on the lookout for any software that will help with booking and scheduling. It has changed my life in terms of artist booking.
CONSI have had no issues so far with Gigwell. The interface is very easy to use and I haven't had any issues with booking errors.

So far, so good! I am still relatively new but am enjoying the program so far.
I like that it is linked with many websites and can pull an artist from a Facebook page or a venue contact from google. It makes things quicker and easier. I love that the booking form can be posted online and then the information that is filled in automatically is used to populate a contract. I also think the customer service is probably the best I have had for any program!
CONSThe one thing I am not a huge fan of is how 'strict' the inputting of certain information is and that I need customer service to reformat some templates in order to display information in a slightly different way. Maybe a little more flexibility on certain scheduling/multiple dates type information.

Great team and product
The product is so robust and flexible but the best part is the team, no matter what the problem they are so helpful and easy to deal with.
