However, this is a double-edged-sword. You can fall into the trap or letting GeneXus worry about everything to the point that you can become out of touch with technology trends.

In addition, the way of versioning the product often means that a problem with one version can only be solved with a new version with the consequent need to test the development.

Code generated is difficult to read and some restrictions in the use of each language.

The licence system makes Mendix unaccessible for smaller budgets. Some Mendix versions can contain annoying bugs.

The mobile app deployment system through PhoneGap is confusing. Native themes are visually slightly outdated.

Also we liked the full stack approach. From ideation, automated deployment and database creation to version management and integrated feedback loops.

It is a very easy system to learn with no programming knowledge required and can be managed by very few people. Overall highly recommend product with endless possibilities within an organisation.

Mendix  is a licensed system which make it inaccessible for smaller budgets. Some versions contain annoying bugs.

Platform is not flawless but it's the best low code platform from which I have had a chance to try with many options and powerful set of customizable components.
