Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • The Apache tomcat is very powerful middleware. The most important feature is that it is compatible with multiple databases and very light in weight.
  • Tomcat has always been my favourite when it comes to building web applications with Java. It works great and is free.
  • Cons

  • I particularly dislike that Apache Tomcat can be difficult to establish and arrange.
  • Lack of support in file formats, only supports Jar and War. Sometimes updated code is not applicable unless we stop and start the server.

  • Pros

  • A whole lot of great finds to fit every budget. Great when you are looking for something to help in a pinch.
  • Great UI, easy to use, GitLab helps to manage projects easily, easy to review code, GitLab API is easy to use in your project.
  • Cons

  • Little tough to integrate from command prompt on windows or mac. I can't find any other defects or bugs in this software.
  • I do have some complaints about it. I hope that newer versions will make my complaints obsolete.
