10to8 Software


 

10to8 is a cloud-based booking solution for small to large businesses in all industries. It provides users with a customized booking website where clients can schedule appointments, pay for events and services and access existing bookings.

Clients can schedule, cancel and reschedule appointments as needed. Appointments are automatically synched with user calendars, and 10to8 can integrate with Gmail, Outlook, iCal and more. Users can maintain multiple calendars if necessary. Attendees can receive email and text message reminders, and users can store notes, questionnaires and other client data.

Booking buttons and forms can be embedded into existing websites, and users can also access a direct chat feature to talk with clients. Reporting features allow users to track confirmed appointments, unpaid bills and more. 10to8 also provides multi-language support and allows users to customize their dashboard.

Email and phone support are offered. Pricing is per user per month.

The system is easy to set up compared to others I've used and researched, reliable, has mobile apps, room view, email and text appointment notifications and reminders for your clients, and many features to customize and optimize appointments for your business and your clients. Excellent support. Responsive timely consistent support service electronically or you can actually speak with a human if needed during set up and after. I am treated as a valued client of 10-8 .

Cons

Recurring appointments scheduled in a block over a range of dates have to be deleted individually if needed, my only con.

It is fast, free user friendly and easy to use and setup.

I have used several of the competitors but all of them lacked something even the paid version. I was amazed to find such great functionality and brilliant support.

I now use it all the time for my therapy business.

Cons

I least like it's inability to write appointments directly into my Google calendar. Having said that the work around is ok.

Clients freedom to schedule their own appointments. My own freedom from answering phone calls and booking their appointments. Appointment reminders have reduced no-shows big-time!

Pros

It's free! It's easy to setup and easy to use. Clients love it. I was able to get rid of my daytimer.

Cons

Nothing really. Except that as a free user I don't have the same options as the paid versions. And paid versions could be cheaper.

Ability to link my iCal is huge and seeing any client notes to me when they schedule is important too.

Pros

User experience is good. Not difficult to find what I need and update. I don't receive a lot of people scheduling and this is my first scheduler so I don't know what I don't know... Still working with it but so far I'm satisfied.

Cons

Would rather it integrate with PayPal instead of having to set up a Stripe account. Would like the ability to manually change the positions of my services instead of them being alphabetical. Would like the BOOK NOW button to have the option to be renamed if I so choose. The app isn't robust enough for my needs. Can't find clients unless I enter a name so if I FORGOT someone's name, I'm beat.

Free for users when scheduling Up to 100 appointments. Easy to use. Let's you customize when to send reminders to clients.

Cons

The app has a glitch with dates when making an appointment or scheduling on the phone. When changing an appointment, the date and day does not match. Be careful when doing this using the app!

It accepts credit card payments, it links up to my Stripe account, I can set it up fairly simply, and it's free!

Cons

It's a little clunky, and it doesn't have some of the more advanced features that something like Acuity has, but for what I need, it totally works.

Cons

Setting up availability is slow.

Automated system for diary, reminder texts and links to accounts

Pros

That I can set when text reminders are sent, it updates my diary immediately and links with Zapier for my accounts

Cons

No real downsides, a couple of clients have said it would be nice if they could automatically put the appt in their diary from the texts.

My clients are able to schedule without going back and forth with me. I used to customize a schedule with each person and it got exhausting.

Cons

You have to "click" many things to accomplish a small task. There is no app. My clients have had difficulty with changing appointments and have chosen to make new ones and send me emails to have me cancel others. It was more confusing than helpful.

I am able to more easily share my availability with people who want to book appointments with me, without the back-and-forth e-mails confirming dates and times. My availability changes from week to week with most events in my personal calendar. It's been so useful to send someone a link to see my available times versus sending a long message saying "I'm available Monday morning, Tuesday from 1 to 3, etc. It's helped my productivity a lot.

Pros

I love the two-way sync to my personal calendar. This is so incredibly helpful and probably the most valuable feature.

Cons

The user interface is good, but could use some tweaks. I wish the side bar of the menu were a bit bigger sometimes.

I get to schedule meetings with clients and prospects, which help to grow my business. I also get to implement this software with my own landing pages for my clients!

There are so many useful features with 10to8, that I highly recommend diving in and taking a look around at everything possible with this software!

Pros

There's too many features to list that I like... I cannot name just ONE. So here's what I like most:
- SMS automation
- HTML Embed Widget
- Calendar syncing
- Lead Capture functionality and integration with MailChimp

Cons

I think the User Interface could use a facelift. It's just a little bulky, and you have to search around and explore to find the good features.

A sleek and easy way for my clients to book straight from my website...so they don't have to take extra steps ...I love the embedded forms.

Pros

All the options for sharing the links, embedding, etc.... and the fact that my clients can see the appointments in their local time...which is great because I work with entrepreneurs the world round.

Cons

I really like this software....the only thing I can think of for improvements, is make sure when people book that the time clearly states AM or PM, so there's no confusion.

The best thing about is the sms/email reminder to clinent which results in 0% no show. Simply Amazing.

The thing I like most about this software is that it syncs with my Google calendar so that all of my notifications are in one place.

Cons

The biggest difficulty I have come across so far is the inability to customize the order of the service types.

I also would prefer to be able to choose a background color so that it more seamlessly blends in to my web page.
