This was a great lower cost solution for getting into CAD. The cost is more than what we wanted to spend, but pricing is competitive.

Sometimes the program may crash or shut down unexpectedly. If the autosave feature is not enabled this can lead to a huge loss in work.

I've used AutoCad LT for 4 years and have been generally pleased with its features for my use case which is one off products and maintaining a floor plan for out plant layout.

It has got almost all 2D drawing features. Creating complex multi-layered drawings are very easy.

What I like the most about AutoCAD Lt is its cost. A years subscription can be up to twenty five percent of the original program.

Easy to integrate in manufacturing applications. The printing options available are better than competition.

Auto CAD is very nice software for anything to planning,drawing and designing.

With the wide range of APIs, the solution has to offer and the ability to integrate with other third-party applications.

Still this is a good help for me doing my drawings.

It's enough to accomplish most design tasks and the pricing is a lot more attractive.

Some 3d elements and quick short cuts are not available but it really doesn't effect our daily work flow.

AutoCAD LT is a great light weight option for reviewing and revising, CAD drawings. Take-offs, measurements, clouds, etc are all very straight forward and runs quicker than regular AutoCAD.

It has no 3d capacities, so it is for no use in the architecture office anymore.

Again, I do not personally use it, but I have not been told of any negative features about the software.

It's an excellent piece of software which essentially strips down the standard Autocad version by removing a few features like 3D modelling.

The software provides single-user licensing, so it may be difficult to use as a business organization.

It is still CAD and is something that takes time to learn. Because of the trimmed down features it can have some odd errors where objects are not read/supported, so they can be edited or removed.

AutoCAD LT is a user friendly, all encompassing design software. The ease of use for our draftsmen is great.

It is an application that I can quickly model an easy 2 dimensional object. I can access this model I designed on the web and mobile.

I don't like it when I have to change plot settings so I try to avoid it.

It permits to have an extensive library of already drawn items. Instead of copying and pasting from previous drawings, we can draw it once, save it in the library and call on it whenever we like.

The software is outdated that it is missing some of the features that most design tools would commonly have.

Integration of MicroStation with State Departments' rules and regulations is one of the best features that it has. I have been using MicroStation for Road design for different state DOTs.

Microstation is very good software to make drawings Specially for Brown filed projects. It is Very easy to attach maps,Coordinates and  Feeling satisfaction towards by producing Quality drawings.

Its integration and BIM capabilities is a great feature and as BIM is becoming more widely adopted, this is a vital feature.

Mostly for government project , we need to work with so many reference file. Microstation only can solve for reference file problem.

I like the drafting tools as well as the tutorials to help me learn how to be productive with the software.

I like that you can bring INROADS into the software to build an alignment and take section views of the road.

Microstation is a core software used at my company for a lot of large infrastructure projects. It is nice that it does work pretty quickly and works well with other Bentley products.

Administration can seem confusing as there are so many different options.

After a while it becomes second nature to use, and the grid hotkeys are the best setting there is.

Also the MicroStation support team is always willing to help with quick response time.

Very good in creating CAD design in sync with MX-Road. Excellent tools and friendly user interface.

Lately, as mentioned above, Microstation has been transitioning over to OpenRoads Designer Connect edition which is been difficult at times to work with.

Printing quality is good. Software system is quite good.

This software help me to work with documents with extension dxf easily, but the most important is that you can work with 2d and 3d and print it in PDF.

I dislike the functionality of microstation. It is not user-friendly in the least bit.

MicroStation is the best product for highway and bridge design. It is a very easy software to use and has a minimal learning curve.

Now I am using for electricity distribution and transmission industry. It is a fantastic software for all the industries.

There are fantastic ways of designing highways along with complete construction designs. It is the most reliable and excellent software.

It's kind a tool which makes everything easier and at the end of the it matters. Great product comes with high price which everybody understands after using it.

I have found some small bugs that will cause either an abrupt crash or a 'slow' crash that is more recoverable.

We use Bentley MicroStation for the projects that are designed and controlled using Bentley BIM for their good integration with each other.

The best CAD software for companies heavily invested in Bentley ecosystem.

The ease of use is amazing, I had never used microstation before starting at BV, and the learning curve for microstation was minimal.

Customer support and other facilities are excellent in microstation.

Can't open different file in views at the same time, you can only work on one file at one time, which is inconvenient.

Microstation provides the ability for multiple discipline integration as well quality drafting/ modelling with a fairly easy to use layout.
