I've had this manager for 5+ years and I absolutely love it. The one thing I would add is the ability to search the vault for logins with duplicate passwords.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

It just works. With hundreds of passwords, some infrequently used, a manager is a must in today's world. The browser plugin easily recognizes your credentials for the site you're on, and gives you the option of multiple logins on a dropdown list. Simple.

#### Cons

At times the drop down list is unreadable making it difficult to identify which credential you need. This mostly happens on mobile. Some websites do not allow autofill, but that's not LastPass's fault.

#### Reasons for choosing LastPass

Don't trust the other companies to protect my information.

#### Reasons for switching to LastPass

Ease of use and better features.

#### Pros

Tight security, It has yubi key support which is really good and lastpass is synced across devices and it's available offline. The autocomplete feature is good, especially when you're signing up on a website. It works well on phones too when you sign in on different apps.

#### Cons

The Yubi key support is part of the paid plan. The number of devices that can be used with lastpass are limited unless you're on the premium. The UI could have been better.

Once everything has been setup in the backend and user accounts federated, it has been easy to deploy and manage. The browser extension works as expected and will let you know how strong a password is. Another important feature is able to add notes to each login item in the vault.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

LastPass make is very easy to generate complex passwords for each and every login. It will automatically save to the vault and autofill logins. The account can also sync with other devices no issues and is seamless.

#### Cons

To set up sharing folders can be a bit tricky up especially with permissions. The admin console does take a while to get used to. We have had issues setting up single sign on, but worked through them in the end.

I had not known about LastPass until I stared my current job, where we use it for everything. I have a hard time to remember all of my passwords across various platforms. Security wise, it isn't suggested to have all of your passwords the same, this enables me to be able to follow that guidance, and not worry about writing them down, or having them anywhere that someone could see them accidentally.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I have a very hard time remembering my login passwords, since it is suggested to be the safest to have different passwords, lastpass helps me to have them all stored in a safe place so that I do not have to keep them written down or continue to reset passwords constantly because I can't remember which one it was.

#### Cons

I have not experienced any cons with LastPass, I would say I do wish it worked on my mobile phone to login automatically, but I am able to open it and copy and paste so it isn't difficult to figure out.

Overall, it is a great tool and allows me to not have to remember every username/password combination for each website I frequent. It saves and stores all of them, plus when you pull up the website, it populates the username/password data, so long as you have it saved from the previous session and added to your vault.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

LastPass is a secure system for storing username and password login information for multiple websites. Our agency uses the system to save and store important logins for every website and donor system we utilize.

#### Cons

Sometimes LastPass does not automatically generate previously remembered username/password combinations and you have to physically open your LastPass vault to reactivate it.

I enjoyed using LastPass but lost some faith in the product as the company experienced a significant data breach that resulted in stolen customer data. Its overall ease of us can't out shadow the critical loss they experienced as well as their customers.

#### Ratings breakdown

I liked that it was simple to use and most importantly, to me, was that it came included in my VPN purchase so I didn't have to spend any extra money to use it.

#### Cons

Overall, makes me a lot more productive. I need a password manager, so it does the job but the added bonus of the autofilling on forms is great. I'm not sure what other features I'd like, perhaps easier backups both local and to a backup location of my choice E.g. my cloud storage would be good.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The cloud integration/browser integration is the safest I've used. Really intuitive enabling you to autofill usernames/passwords saving a lot of time other alternatives where you have to search for the one you want

#### Cons

Sometimes it's slow or laggy, especially if I have a load of tabs open, or am too fast/slow at clicking I can close it before it works. I do have the paid version but I don't feel like you get much more than the password management in terms of features.

#### Reasons for switching to LastPass

Needed something I didn't have to host myself

LastPass has made us more efficient with single-sign on. Our users are able to authenticate quickly and get into the application they are trying to logon to. The support staff has been very helpful and it was easy to get our account setup.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5

#### Pros

We really like how LastPass securely stores our passwords so we do not have to remember each one for all the applications we use. The integrations with multi-factor authentication has helped us meet SOC compliance requirements. The way we are able to add and access our passwords has been extremely helpful.

#### Cons

It is somewhat of a security nightmare if there was a hacker who got a hold of someone's LastPass account, as they would have quick access to their programs. The reliance on the user to keep it secure has been a concern for us.

#### Reasons for choosing LastPass

We went with LastPass due to their stellar reputation. The options and features were preferred over Trend Micros password management.

Managing passwords is always a hectic thing when you are using multiple web application, social apps. I'm using lastpass to save all my passwords under one place and it's more convenient for me to use where I want.

#### Cons

I wish Lastpass security team to consider security as their primary priority as it will be catastrophic if compromised. I beleive lastpass is improved security much better after the last security incident.

My overall experience with LastPass is good. They have a 2 step multi authenticator to get into lastpass. After that your login's should autofill to the correct websites if you have them saved. The only thing is if you let LastPass generate a password for you it is unique but odds are you won't know it unless you have access to LastPass which is okay for certain things like work related websites.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like about LastPass is that you are able to keep any passwords (& usernames and any additional information) all in one place. LastPass also help generate unique passwords. You can also share passwords securely.

#### Cons

The thing I like least is sometimes if someone shares a login with you but doesn't send it so that the password will update if they update it. Sometimes it won't autofill on the website either and you have to go into lastpass and launch it.

### This software changed my life

I originally installed Lastpass to manage my VA's accesses better. Share passwords securely. Since I started using it I switched 2 VAs, and at the moment I'm working on my own. Meanwhile the software embedded itself into all areas of my business and personal online activity, and there's no way back. Before using Lastpass I used to have mostly similar 5-10 passwords across multiple services, often forgetting what password belongs to what service and forced to change the often due to that. A huge hassle, not to mention less secured. Apart from that, I couldn't share accesses securely with a team member, since providing the direct password to a service meant they potentially have access to everything else I use. Extremely risky. Lastpass changed all that - I currently have a unique password to each service used, gibberish, hard to guess one, and I have to remember only the one used to login Lastpass. In addition, I don't need to share anything explicitly with anyone. I always prompt them to open a free account, and I share it with them directly to it. Once they don't need to use the password anymore, I can eliminate their access, and back to safety. Huge game changer for me, can't see how I ever go back to my previous life.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I love how easy to install and use it. I'm also happy with the secured sharing option, the passwords history for each service (sometimes comes useful), and the price is quite reasonable. All in all, great solution.

#### Cons

I recently became aware of competitor services that allow 2FA directly in the browser. Me still having to use my phone to provide the code via authenticator app is quite a hassle. If there's any reason for me to switch to a competitor app, that would be it.

I like using the password generation, organizing my vault, seeing it sync in when I move over to mobile. Expanding my vault with more and more passwords makes me feel increasingly secure and like I'm taking control of my online life.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I'm really happy with the password management tools provided by lastpass and how it keeps me organized. I enjoy creating different folders, subfolders and diving things between work and personal within my vault. For sufficient modern day online security the average person is needs to maintain hundreds of different account and logins with each having a unique password consisting of a random string of characters. It would be impossible to manage this without a trusted tool like LP.

#### Cons

Autofill and autosave are very, very good but still not yet at the point where every website works. And I haven't figured out how to autosave new passwords when I'm on mobile and have them sync over to desktop. That's really my only criticism. But perhaps, it's my fault and there is a setting where I can enable improved mobile autosave. I'll keep looking into it. Overall, this is a very valuable product that everyone should use.
