Advataxes Review
Overall the experience is positive. The software does "its job". I hope that the price range will continue to be an affordable one.
PROSUsers' feedback was good, overall users felt that "the software is easy to use". In terms of implementation, it provided great flexibility and required very little adaptation of our current accounting policies and various types of expenditures.
CONSOne feature would be helpful to have is a connection to the banking credit card system, where users can log in to Advataxes and view their outstanding credit card expenses and match the expense with the receipt in real time. This would streamline the process and eliminate the follow up work on missing receipts.
Reason for choosing Advataxes
WE explored 3 options. Each had its own pluses and minuses. Nexonia offered an integration with our accounting system but it did not allow us to test the product which made it hard to envision the process before implementing it across the organization.

As for the credit card integration, we have been recently doing business with a third party provider (Plaid) that maintains a link with +100 North American banks. We can let you try this new feature for free, however if you keep it there will be a fee. Thank you for your feedback. It's much appreciated.

Nice tool !
- We no longer need to have different excel spreadsheets for each provinces (for different tax rates), and we do not need to update some of the changing tax features, such as large companies. - Reduce paper printed. - Easier approval process - Very good customer services
PROS- Ability to directly save invoices into the system from a camera - Automatic calculation of mileage - Calculation of taxes according to the applicable rules.
CONS- The speed of the system; when you click on a tab it takes a few seconds to get to the new page. - The mobile application could be more complete and allow to never need the computer.
Reason for choosing Advataxes
Advatxes is a local supplier and we feel customer support is important.

We're glad you like the Canadian sales tax functionalities as well as the distance calculator, as these are core functionalities of Advataxes to properly claim recoverable taxes and lower the time required to fill out an expense report. As for your other comments we are also working on increasing the speed of certain features.

Great expense software!
I always get my proper reimbursement because of how Advataxes organizes my expenses.
PROSThis software is very user friendly and includes all the options I need. The response from the team whenever I have contacted them is very fast and they fix any issues ro explain to me what is needed.
CONSI wish the "stay logged in" feature on the app actually worked.

Easy, clear visual and time saving
Less time needed to process our expense reports is the right thing for every business,

CONSWhen I received an e-mail asking to approve an expense report, it should be great to open the expense report related to the e-mail I received.

Easy to use and very friendly
One of the easiest and friendly expense report app I have used. The visual is clean and everything is simple.
PROSThe new feature where you only have to take a picture and all the fields are filled by themselves. You only have to check to realize that the app entered everything right!
CONSSometimes, I can't send the report on the mobile app, I need to open my computer to send the report.

Good sofware to share costs
Globaly, Advataxes was used to refund some travel costs and it worked pretty well.
PROSThere's a lot of flexibility with the content of the product we are putting in an advataxe report, permitting to be more in line with the need of the people.
CONSThe modification of the dates is hard to do and sometimes we need to cancel some entries.

The best option for expenses
Our company switching to Advataxes from our old method has been a breath of fresh air. It’s so easy to use, easy to set up and keeps track of everything for you.

CONSCertaines fonctionnalités sont manquantes, comme pouvoir changer le département d'un employé sans devoir l'effacer et en re-créer un autre...il faudrait avoir plus de latitude pour modifier des spécificités chez des utilisateurs ou pour modifier des catégories ex: changer de taux de kilométrage sans avoir à l'effacer et à en re-créer un autre.

It helps to make the work easier without the use of a printer. reduced the work load as cell phones are used by everyone all the time. Fast and very reliable.
PROSCan be used from anywhere when you have a cell phone with you. Fast and reliable. Good help from the support team whenever required.
CONSThis software doesn't seemed to be designed well for the cell phones as the pages don't load/ appear appropriately while loading the software. It can be redesigned/ adjusted for the use of cellphones so that the pages will fit on the cellphone screen.

The ability to enter the information and push to the next level for approval and processing eliminates paper and is one of the few instances where apps move us towards the ideal of a paper free office.

PROSthe simplicity. I have a lot of expenses report to review and the system is so easy to use. The detail of the expenses is there and easy to open and approuve.

Amazing product
Since launching this in our company I'm only getting positive feedback. It's easy to use and the team behind it is amazing. Excellent service.
PROSThe fact that it's easy to use and the ease of mind knowing that they are up to date on the tax claim laws.
CONSI would have liked an App for the cell phones.

It is pretty straight forward. Really, you are forcing a minimum of characters?
CONSThat I have to scan my receipts individually. It can take up to forever.

You can use a smartphone and connect to the mobile side and upload pictures directly from your phone without having to scan anything. Better than paper forms
More efficient than paper expense forms!
PROSSubmitting expense forms online is more efficient than paper forms.
CONSIt would be nice if you could select multiple destinations (on same day) and it would prefill the start address, date, etc. from the previous line.
