A powerful toolset for data visualisation and reporting

We have been using ActiveReports.Net for several years and we find it meets out reporting requirements. There is a good flow of information about new features and the product keeps up to date with trends in the market.

PROS

There are a substantial amount of components available to meet most reporting needs. There is a frequent release of new features. The online support is good.

CONS

The price point is a little high for our use of the product (packaged end user reports).

good alternative for reporting

PROS

easy to use once you understand the software setup. not easy to integrate into new software. harder to update as time goes on.

CONS

older and harder to integrate into existing more modern software. great solution for reporting years ago but has lacked in catching up with technology and integration.

Long time ActiveReports User

Overall my experience has been great, we use Active Reports for 99% of our reports.

PROS

Easy to use. Easy to create quick reports, with little experience.

CONS

Upgrades don't always go as easily as they should, there is always some manual process that needs to be completed to really complete the update.
