Define and use picklists, schedule waterfalls for your selections, leverage Marketing Cloud's Data Views just to name a few of the great features.

They really want you to succeed which makes learning and starting to use DeSelect a really good experience.

With a very strong and well trained customer success team it is possible to implement easy to very complex use cases with DESelect.

It saves me a lot of time of manual segmentation. And the support team is great.

Being able to build segments and filter by our specific needs is the most useful.

The limitations of DESelect are unfortunately ones imposed by Marketing Cloud/Salesforce.

It did not require any SQL knowledge. But, in the background, data processing problems arose when creating selections, apart from the time-consuming actions from our data analysts & marketeers.

Also - DeSelect support is great and everyone who works there are so nice and willing to help at all times.

This sort of work can distract marketeers from their real workload. Their focus must be on the targets and KPIs, rather than spending time figuring out how to do segmentation.

We felt there were no other solutions in the market or on the Salesforce AppExchange. As we have no SQL experience in-house, MarketingCloud Queries was also no option.

Many times it stops working from no reason. So stability of the feature (deselct search).

We converted over 100 Discoverer reports in 2 days with great accuracy. Saving may hours of debugging and testing.

We have dozens of scheduled reports to support our different business functions. We have SplashBI reports embedded in Excel to create Project Costing dashboards.

Great internal team and super easy to work with.

The report creation and modification is a little difficult for the mere user with little to no technical knowledge.

SplashBI has the primary Reporting software for all AP, AR, Treasury, Land, Revenue, JIB Accounting teams, for approximately 6 years.

Joining tables is still something I struggle with. Mostly it is because I have not taken the time to learn it.

We didn't use the Dashboard function so far (out of scope). One problem we had is that the datawarehouse model needs to have been setup correctly (especially the joints) to avoid later issues.

Users benefit from the ease-of-use interface and the ability to run reports directly from within Excel.

Quick install, Easy rollout and user friendly. GL Connect makes financial reporting very easy and accessible.

Moving from Discoverer to SplashBI for our reporting needs was one of the best decisions we made.

Still no connector to allow you to access data in Essbase which they have said has been on their list for development.

Interestingly the growth in use of the product has been somewhat self propagating. As an example I had people in Fleet request a report from Finance which they loved and asked how they got it.
